Aug 30, 1999: The car went 'dead' today.
I think a dead battery. I told myself if it fails I won't be
repairing it anymore. Somehow I had the feeling that something's
going to happen to Lance, and it was some kind of sign.Unfortunately
a few days later, on Sept 1, 1999 he died. Final odometer reading:
107538 miles.

The fiirst (and probably last) car that I own is a 1991 Isuzu Impulse XS. I bought it at a used car dealer Jim Brown Motors at 6th and Lamar on Feb 11, 1997. The dealer has since closed, moved. The list price was US$ 2995 and odometer reading was 093000 miles. Read more about the Impulse.
