My Girls

<--Audrey and me in Boston.

AUDREY PERDIGON: Audrey is my best friend since we were little poser seventh graders. We've been through everything together! We used to be the Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains buffs. Eek. I can't believe that we were. Now Audrey has gone mad. She's sooooo weird...we share the same weird, corny and horny, yet very fun mind. Audrey knows every side of me that even my family hasn't seen. I've seen almost every side of her, I think.

MELINDA SMITH: Melinda is another one of my best friends. We met in freshman year. We were practically glued at the hip last year. She is obsessed with Bush and Veruca Salt, and some other bands. I love this girl! She is so funny! She shares the same rare humor as me and we say and think a lot of the same things, which is pretty scary!

FLORENCE PARK: Flo is my best friend at church. She is the sweetest girl in the world. We've been friends since we were about 7. We've gone through a whole lot together. We've gone through years of Camp Men-o-Lan (this summer korean-christian camp), various retreats, about a million sunday worships and saturday bible studies, and we've even gone to Korea together! She is so great! She is the kind of friends who will always be there for you. She gets excited when you're excited, sad when you're sad, angry when you're angry. I never wanna lose her as my friend. She's really into Superman (actually, Dean Cain) and frogs.

Sunme's on the left..she's with Mary Chung..the pk from her church.

SUNME KIM: Sunme is a real close friend. We've been friends since we were little kids. Our churches split up a few years ago, which separated us. But we see each other still on occasion. She's such a cute girl. Her plans are to become a jundosanim (youth pastor) for kids. I know she's gonna be great at it too! She's a great dancer and fun as hell to hang out with!

AMY PARK: My best friend when we were kiddies. We went through a whole load of junk together. Our moms used to buy us matching shirts (how cute) and we were a fun pair. We listened to Odyssesy..oooH..and we used to sing these cute praise songs in her car when we were going to hangul hakkyo. Now we're still tight after all those years! Amy SooBak!! THis is her baby pic along with a pic of her now.

CHRISTINA JORDAN: Christina is the cutest thing alive! We've been friends since we were in fifth grade! We were best friends for a couple years, lost touch (in other words we had no classes together) and then now we are buds again. We've been through a lot too. We've been through numerous fights, phases, guy situations (we went out with the same guy..he dumped me then asked her out..but i've gotten over that by now! that was three years ago), etc...She's a anglophile. Anglophile- a lover of England. She's obsessed with punk, ska, and a million bands. Here is a British Flag in place of  it.

GINA CHAE: One of the only Koreans in our white-majority high school, and she has to have the same name as me!!! She's cool as hell. She's actually an unnie to me (which means she is like an older sister to me). This girl is born in 78! She's the most fashionable person I know. She's really hedonistic (SAT word: fun-loving). I bet when she goes to college she'll be out partying and having all these guys following her around! Anyways, she's real cool.

GABBY GUZMAN: I love Gabby!! She's one of my most sincere and sweet friends. We have a lot of fun together. Once we went to New York to see Les Mis and at the TGIFridays, we made a Pamela Lee out of leftover burger. And once in AP History, we made a song about Woodrow Wilson. She is so much fun to be around and a great person to talk to!!

MINA CHOE: My cuzin. There are a lot of years of memories we've shared. She is the only girl cuzin i can hang out with when i go to down to maryland. We have a lot of  fun together. There are a million billion things i can talk about, so i won't say them. But just saying--she's cool except when she locks me out of the computer room.. HA ha...AND she makes me laff so hard that i think im gonna explode.

ANN CHON: Ann and I go waaay back to the days of summer camp and when Pastor Kim was our moksanim at MGUMC. I've seen her through many changes and she has seen me through many changes too. She is the president of our youth group now. She's a senior headed for Rutgers University. She's totally obsessed with that guy from Solid. We've shared a million moments together and I'm really really gonna miss her when she leaves. Hey Ann-- I wanna go to Ann-O-Lan!!
