All About ME!

Senior Pic Okay, Well I've been on the computer long enough to scan some pictures and get together a decent page together but that doesn't mean I'll stop adding things. I suppose I'll get to what you wanted to know... a look into who I am. :)

Now lets see, where to start.... I was born and raised in Alma, Michigan. It was my home for 22 years and I attended Alma College, as well. I have finally graduated with a BS studying Biology with an Environmental Studies minor. Since graduation I have moved countries, so needless to say I'm still looking for that right job. I'm searching the market and hopefully will find something involving the environment or animals.
Currently, I'm back in Australia after finishing my degree at Alma. I spent a year studying abroad in Australia during my junior year of college and it was then when I met my fiance. While I was here the first time, I lived in Wollongong, New South Wales, Australia, where I attended the University of Wollongong. I did heaps of traveling then and lived in three different housing units. It was a great experience, and also led me to the life that I'm living now!

But enough of what I'm doing now, here's stuff that I've always done and enjoyed :) I enjoy many things in life. I especially love the outdoors. Some of my hobbies include rollerblading, playing softball, traveling, and scuba diving. :) I have had many interesting scuba diving experiences and hope to have many more. Most were from when I was in Australia, however, it all started because of my trip to the Florida Keys during Christmas break '98. It was very beautiful and so much fun! I have one picture of me under the water in all the gear. So don't laugh, you punks. :) Since I'm such an avid diver I joined a scuba club while in Australia. I had the joy of being Treasurer and being very active in the Scuba Diving Club at the University of Wollongong.

Me in dive gear A special part of my heart is for my mom's dog, Cyndel. She is so tiny and cute, go see for yourself. After only having her a month, I had trained her to sit, stay, come, lay down, and roll over. She is a very smart dog, but she can also be stubborn, too. I heard from my mother that she is going very well in obedience classes, too!

Senoir Pic Some more about me: I love music of any form. I am a singer. I have been to the Solo and Ensemble Festival in my district where I recieved a #1 rating, which is the highest rating. I performed as a solo artist. I was able to participate in the State Festival since I recieved the 1 rating in districts. It was very exciting. There, I was disappointed a little bit and recieved a #2 rating. It was a very good experiance all in all though. I would encourage all singers to participate if they can.

I have managed to sing throughout the years and throughout college. I participated in the Alma College Womens Glee for two years and the Alma Chorale my senior year. I was also inducted into Sigma Alpha Iota, which is a Women's Music fraternity. I love all my sisters very much, so if your reading this, Many Roses!

My Dorm Another interesting tid-bit about me is that my family owns a small business in Downtown Alma. It's called Cardboard Addiction. They sell sports cards and collectibles, including a good selection of racing, baseball, basketball, hockey, football, and wrestling. Also, we are selling some Magic the Gathering cards and some Ty Beanie Babies. If you're ever in the area come check it out. Mention that you saw it here on my webpage and get a discount on your purchase. The address is 116 E. Superior St. located by the Office Center and the Cobbler Shop. Stop by, you might get lucky and see Cyndel while your there too.

Well, I can't think of anything to write right now so I'll add more later.
'Til then, enjoy. :)
