What does Gina do?

I go nuts every day trying to keep up a stable schedule during the week. I barely get any sleep becuase I do too much stuff. I love it. I love living in constant activity.  On the weekends I just kick back and sleep a million hours and waste time with friends.

School-Related Activities

Deca is this co-curricular activity thingy. Its very business related and great for experience. Basically, what you do is do role-plays, take tests and make reports.. mock-business situations to help high school students better prepare for the "real world." The tournaments are really fun and enriching at the same time. Its a great club to be in. BUT you have to be taking a marketing class to be in it.

Amnesty International is human rights organization. We basically fight for the rights of those who are trying to promote equality and humanity, but are subject to ridicule and violence, and fight for the rights of the individuals in countries that have a social system that discriminates. Its a really good club to be in..now and after high-school. Our school holds a winter and spring coffeehouse to help support our club.

I sing in choir. I love singing. I am in our school's Chamber Choir and Madrigals. I recently participated in the All-Shore Chorus, which was really fun. I also accompany the choir on the piano, which is actually a lot harder than solo pieces on the piano, but its fun.

Other clubs that I am in are ADAPT (a drug and alcohol prevention team)- we go out to elementary and middle schools to teach about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse. NHS (National Honor Society), Octogan Club (a volunteer program) and next year I am hoping to re-establish our school's Asian Club.

Non-School Related Activities

I am a pianist as well as a piano teacher. I have taken lessons since I was 4 years old, and I started playing when I was 3. I enjoy this, but I think singing is much more fun to perform than piano. However, I feel I am far more skilled at the piano. But I'm not saying I am a Beethoven or anything like that. I have right now 12 students. I am also the keyboardist for our praise team at church.

I am a Sunday School teacher as well. I used to teach the first grade class, but now I am teaching the four-year olds. They are really cute, but they cry for their mothers a lot. I can't really function a very thorough bible study for them, so I introduce concepts to them..such as God's creation and Jesus's miracles.

(this isn't me..i just like the animation) I am a green-blue belt in Tae Kwon Do. But have no fear..I am not very violent or all that strong. But be sure not to try and attack me. I can kill you if I want to. Haha.
