WHAT IS BBYO?
Good question! BBYO stands for the B'nai B'rith Youth Organization! It is the largest Jewish youth organization in the world. Members are teenagers in high school. The girls' part of the organization is called BBG, or B'nai B'rith Girls. The first BBG chapter is San Fransisco #1, in Central Region West. The guys' group is called AZA, or Aleph Zadik Aleph. The first AZA chapter is Mother Chapter #1 in Omaha, Nebraska, in Mid-America Region. There are mainly five levels to BBYO. They are International, Regional, Council, Chapter, and Member. The member is most important!!! There are also areas called Districts. BBYO is located throughout Europe, Scandinavia, Israel, the United States, Canada, and even a few more countries!!! BBYO is a fun way to experience Judaism, fraternity, and community service.

WHAT IS CLTC?
CLTC is Chapter Leadership Training Conference. There were four sessions in Mukwonago, Wisconsin, and on in Starlight, Pennsylvania, Canada, and California. This page is about Session 4 1998. Participants are put into mock chapters. The object is to make the chapters ideal and have them run smoothly with no problems. There were officers in the chapters. Our session had six awesome chapters, 3 per gender. We attended ten leadership sessions with our chapter. They were led by our advisor. We participated in activities such as Judaism seminars, Avodah (work) projects, Group Dynamics, Yoga, Shira (songs), and Rikudim (ISRAELI DANCING!!!)! The people are great, the program is excellent, and it is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I definitely recommend CLTC to all BBYOers entering Sophomore or Junior year. It is the best program!
