This is the page where I tell you about myself….*deep breath* are you ready?? *G*
OK! I am originally from Washington state. (WA is just one of my favorite places *S*) I have been married for 10 years and we have a daughter (17), a son (7), and two cats named, Taiko and Tokyo. As you can guess things are never dull around our house.
Because of my husbands career with the US Navy (yes, I’m a Navy wife *g*) we are currently living in Japan. We moved here December 1997 and will be stationed here for 3 years. We are living at NAF Atsugi, which is 36 km South West from Tokyo, and 16 km West of Yokohama. For years I complained because we hadn’t had orders overseas, and so even though it means long separations from my husband while he is on the USS Blue Ridge. I am thrilled to have the chance to experience another culture. Living in Japan is really fun!
What do I do here??? *G* Besides taking care of my family, chatting in NetCentral and ICQ, reading tons of books..I also work as a substitute teacher at Shirley Lanham Elementary School ( I know, ..I’m crazy!), I teach conversational English to Japanese students in my home, and take my son, Erik, to and from modeling jobs (yes, he’s the star of the family!)
