Cuba Libre Rum with coke or sometimes known as Cuba Libre is just what it's name says : coke with some rum. It's a good drink for those of you who like to drink but don't like the strong taste of alcohol.
The legend says that at the end of the 19th century when cola drinks invaded the cuban bars, an american soldier was sitting in one of those bars and mixed some cuban rum with coke. While raising his glass he shouted "CUBA LIBRE" (Liberate Cuba) and that's how this drink got it's name.
