Hmm..where to start?? It seems most of the people I run into nowadays are just
not as friendly as they should be. Here are a few things I think we can do that
just might make the world a friendlier place to live.....
- A little thought about other people on the road when
your out.
One thing I absolutely HATE is when there are two lanes going in both directions
and you are driving along in the right lane. You see a car in front of you
waiting to make a right out of the next street. He decides not to wait and
pulls out right in YOUR lane when all he or she had to do was cross over into
the other lane going in the same direction and you wouldn't have even had
to slow down!!
- The tailgating *deal*.
I say let's all get along on the road ways and try this out. Instead of getting
upset with a drive behind you when he is tailgating, think of it like this.....Maybe
he or she is really late for something?? What if there son or daughter is
waiting at school for them to get there?? So don't slow down to piss them
off, speed up to help them out.
We could work out some kind of deal. The person being tailgated could speed
up 5-10 miles per hour. Now, if you are the tailgator and see that the driver
has speed up you have to agree to stay back the standard drivers education
distance of 3 seconds. I bet that would largely cut back on the number of
*road rage* incidents.
