You can believe it when we say we love to go out on the screened in porch. We have a cat tree to climb out there and play "king of the hill". It's fun watching the birds and squirrels out there. Around dark, we even get to see some racoons coming down from the trees. They are all funny critters. We sure would like to play with them, but daddy won't let them on the porch. So we just sit out there, with our tails wagging, and watch them run around.

Some of us remember when daddy adopted Jasper and Jasmine. They were just tiny babies living outside over a neighbor lady's house. He went over there to catch them but was only able to get Jasper that day. When he grabbed Jasmine, she bit the snot out of his finger, got away and hid. The lady said she would try to catch her later. Anyhow, little Jasper cried and cried all night long and did not stop until the lady brought Jasmine over the next day. Then he was all quiet and happy. They would always play and sleep together. Then when he brought little Bootsie home, she was non-stop play, play, play. That tiny little thing would play with anything and anybody. We always thought her neatest trick was to unroll the whole roll of toilet paper onto the floor. But dad seemed to have mixed emotions about that. To this day he can't keep the paper on the holder, he has to keep it in the cabinet. Bootsie's all grown up now but she's still the runt and she still loves to play. Every time dad crumples a piece of paper to throw away, she thinks it's for her to play with.
