Feral Norns
It's sort of a twist on the wolfling idea, except I start with educated Norns, and let them run wild. The only concession in this is that I accidently left Encyclopedia Nornica Vol. 1 on the Island when I did the first batch, although weather they used it, I dunno. In my Second run, I will leave all the books laying around, but they will have to figure out on their own how to use them. And on top of this, it only supplies words, not their meanings. One other thing, during the tests, I am using the same world which contains a female Grendle named Grenna that I picked up somewhere. She is kinder than some of the Norns, and they all treat her as a pet. They always give her a pat on the head, which she loves, and sometimes bring her food. This is something that they have done entirely on their own.
The Breeders
These are the Norns that I started with. Two are mine, four are downloaded from the net. They can easily be found by browsing the webring.
Connor
Connor seems to be the main stud in this project, his name was seen often in registries, and he's quite a lady's man(lady's norn?). I got him from the Strange Genes website where they have isolated the highlander gene. Despite this, he is not a carrier, and eventually died.
Sarah
Sarah is one of my Norns. She is 2 1/2 generation Full Purple Mountain Norn. Her mother is Jenna my first Mountain offspring, and her father was Aaron, the first Mountain Norn. I keep thinking of dueling banjos when I think about it... Mountain men...Hmm... Incidentally, both Jenna and Sarah seem to have the Highlander gene(wow, got it in one!)
Darla
Darla is another one of my Norns. She is the daughter of Sandy(1st gen. mountain) and Connor. Darla looks pure Mountain Norn except for her brown arms.
Crescent
Crescent is a female Norn that I downloaded from Age of Albia. In my opinion, she is one of the coolest looking natural norns I have seen so far(infertile gentech experiments don't count). I've noticed that she's the only one that will smack the hell out of a male(even Connor) if she's not in the mood(you go girl!). With 13 lobes, she's pretty smart too.
Gismo
Gismo is another Norn from Age of Albia. I used him because I liked the cool blue coloring, and he seems to have a good nature too. This picture doesn't do his color any credit at all, he's gorgeous! He's a 13 lobed norn, but I forgot to register him, so I'm not entirely sure who he sired, although the color make guessing easy.
Choco
Choco is a third Norn from AoA, and by far the darket brown I've seen. She also has a weird deformity in that when whe is facing left and looks at you, here head seeme to disconnec from her body(can you say exorcist?). Other than that, she's a plain 'ol Norn with a big heart.
