Strathcona Provincial Park

Strathcona Provincial Park was the place where I first got in touch with mother nature. Before coming to North America, I had never noticed the beauty of nature. I will always remember my first week of getting in touch with true wilderness. The sheer beauty of mother nature took my breath away completely. This was also where I first attempted Canoeing, Kayaking, Rock Climbing, Hiking, Camping, and White-water Canoeing. This was where I first fell in love with nature and realized how small my world had been.

Gorgeous. This is where I first fell in love... with nature, that is.
Another pic of the bay at the Strathcona Provincial Park Lodge.
Typical Strathcona sunrise. We were actually at the top of a moutain, which allowed this breath-taking view.
Our canoes and kayaks were left at the river bank while we took a lunch break.
Marco, our group leader who knows everything about whitewater sports. And yes, that's me at the other end of the boat.
This was our launch site on our whitewater canoeing trip. Where can you find another place as beautiful as this?
Marco's idea of how to use little boats to build one big boat ^^
