Tah-Dah!! Absolut Paul! Isn't it great?
Simply John, that would be me.
I like UNC, and I hope to go there, but I really don't know what I am going to major in. I am interested in computers, but I really don't want to go to some technical school that will kill all my brain cells?! My favorite type of car is Mercedes Benz!! You can probably tell because I have 3 pictures of them right below.
Here is a picture of my car (1985 Mercedes Benz, 300D Turbo Diesel) that I found on the Internet, it is the exact same model, color, and year!
I also found an exact picture of my dad's car (1984 Mercedes, 300SD Turbo Diesel), which I thought was really interesting cause I have never seen them anywhere else before.
And here sits my dream car, I love it!! It's a Mercedes E-Class, the newest model!
But anyway, enough about my car. I guess I can tell you some more random stuff about myself. I am 17 years old as of May 3! :) I go to Washington High School, and I am a senior. I will graduate in 2000, so I'm just special :) I was named a marshal just recently, meaning I am in the top 12 of my class. But I'm not really sure how I am, since I act so darn stupid all the time. I guess you might say I am a little insane. :) The good thing about high school, though, is that you don't even have to try to do well cause it's so easy!
My favorite subject in school is probably math cause I think it's really easy, and then I like French too because of my great teacher Mr. Gore. I have a whole page on French Verbs that I dedicated just to him and to people who want to learn how to do it! I have a dog named Chester!! He is a little over 1 year old I think, and he is a mutt. He sure does run fast! I also have a cat named Calvin. He is a pretty cat, but he always runs away from everyone in the house unless he wants to get fed. Damn cat.
Basically, I am a realist, so I am not really a pessimist or an optimist (it depends on the situation). I think about things alot, and am highly analytical. I see things like they are, and alot of the time life is just terrible. The world is full of stupid and ignorant people, but you just have to live with it. I am also sort of cynical, and I don't trust many people. But for the most part, I am a happy and cheerful person, and try to act crazy and funny because that's when people like me the most :) I TRY to look at things positively when I can.
I like UNC, of course. It is kind of obvious. I have always been a Tarheels fan. The one thing I regret is when they won the national championship in 1993. My dad made me to go to sleep early, and I regret that because I have never seen them win for myself. It would have made me feel alot better, but it's ok. I also like girls :) No, I'm not a pervert like girls usually tend to think guys are. I really enjoy the presence of a female over a male, though I like to be around guys too. Girls, for the most part, are generally nicer, in my opinion. I have several girl friends that I like alot. Paula, Melissa, and Emmy just in case they are looking at this page, are my favorites :) I can talk to all of them easily and tell them what's on my mind. I am single still, though, and am currently searching for somebody :)
Another thing I really like to do is travel. It is fun and it kind of shows you what the rest of the world is like. I have been to several places in my life. I went to New York a few years ago, and I had a great time there. However, I realize that it is full of crime and poverty, but of course, that's what life is all about now isn't it? I have also been to England with my family in 9th grade. I had a really good time there as well. First we went to London, and it was very smoggy there. I didn't enjoy that at all :( Then we went to the countryside, and it was nice and sunny and warm. I took many walks in the countryside, and I had an absolutely wonderful time. The people were nice, and unbelievably it didn't rain! My 10th grade year, I took a school trip to Italy and Greece. I made many new friends on that trip, and saw all of the wonderful sights in Rome, Naples, Athens, Delphi, Pompeii and many other places. I think that traveling is a necessary thing because it exposes you to the real world and is good for the soul.
In random other things, I like to listen to music, mainly alternative, rock, or whatnot. Classical music and oldies aren't too bad either, but I can't STAND country music!! AHHH!! It's terrible stuff, and it pollutes the brain. Some of my favorite bands are Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, The Who, Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Ben Folds Five, Korn, and Soundgarden. I listen to New Rock 99X on the radio whenever I get the chance to listen to it, so you can go there if you want. I have a 10 disc CD changer in my car that I got last Christmas and I love it! I also like to play music. I have a guitar and a bass guitar, and I love to jam with people. It's so fun to be able to make music with someone. It gives you a good feeling. I also used to play piano, and it's still fun to do every once in a while. I would like to start a band, but I never find the time to I guess. I also like to play golf. Wait a minute I already said that (Did I mention I have short term memory loss?) I have improved my game lately, and I always have a great time playing. It's a highly mental game, so it can be frustrating, but it's all worth it when your game comes together.
Overall, I am a happy person. I am a little moody at times, but like I have said before, it's all part of life ya know? I really do enjoy my life, and I treasure my family and friends. I think that you have to find time for the things you like and things that are fun, and that way you can be happy and ignore the badness of the world. Also, you should keep God in your life, he will guide you in the right direction. But I'll stop preaching my philosophies :) If you have anything else you want to know about me, just e-mail me!! Thanks for stopping by my page!
