Well what can I say ? As always this week " People " came to the house, delivered by the wonderful mail person, This week has the annual 50 most beautiful people so I quickly opened the magazine and began reading. So what ? I hear you asking !! Well it's nothing against the wonderful people at " People " who do a great job and I very much enjoy reading their articles but I have a few minor grievences with their choices of the most beautiful people ! For starters, I'm not in it !!??? That, however is neither here nor there ! What did inspire me to dedicate this week's rant to this subject is however : The fact that Alicia Silverstone is not in it !! Now surely this is blahphemy, or against the Law or something ( if it's not, then it should be ! ) Yes Liv Tyler is very beautiful, and so are most of the others mentioned, but Alicia is too so why is she not mentioned ? Now ok, Drew Barrymore and Clare danes both deserve to be in there, but I feel ( and I'm sure I'm not alone ) that Alicia is A LOT more beautiful than Roma Downey, Lauren Bacall, Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Yeoh to name but a few so there's plenty of opportunities to have Alicia in the list instead of some of these ! Now this wouldn't be so bad but as far as I can see, she's never been chosen ! Why ? Tom Cruise has been in about 4 times, which is fine but how come Alicia hasn't even been chosen once. This seems a little unfair to me and I can't see why she hasn't been chosen. They can't have simply over looked her as they chose Liv Tyler who was in the Aerosmith music video with her, plus she starts in the new Batman movie so it's not as if she isn't in the public eye ! Anyway that's all I have to say on that subject, and if Alicia is reading this ( there's always hope ! ) " Hi Alicia, you're my favourite, e-mail me !!
