Seaside Town/Miss-Understood tape
Having seriously slagged off that last pop effort
(previous band's review) this I find myself liking. To be honest,
it's hard not to - very pretty, very nice, a bit too nice at times, with
the string arrangements and clean guitars, but they do throw in some much
needed surprises, and it works. This band has imagination as well as serious
unit-shifting potential and good luck to 'em. Falling somewhere between
Dodgy and Space, which admittedly is a pretty sad pedigree, they know what
they're doing, and they're good at it.
