Well I'm sure you've all seen a web page and thought to yourself " Wow that's a good page, I wish I could do something like that ", or " Eugh, that's a terrible web page, even I could do better than that !! " Well even if you haven't, I did, and that's what first prompted me to think about making my own web page. Then I got chatting to a few people on the net who had made their own pages and it seemed like fun, and the final push was when someone offered to pay me to make them a web page, so in order to do this I had to learn how to use HTML and Java etc. so I set to making my own page. I know I'm superficial, doing it for the money, but Hey !! it got me to one didn't it ?? Anyway I found GeoCities and got my free web space organized and set to designing my page. Well it was a damn sight harder than I'd first imagined and my initial page was not a work of art !! If you want to see it go here, I'll leave it on for a bit so you can see just how far I came. It took me about 30 minutes to make it, and it showed. Well after this I was disgusted so I set around to making a new, bigger, better page. A lot harder !! I saw web pages with stuff on that I liked and so I had to learn that stuff and how to position it, in fact I'm still learning and as I learn and progress I hope my home page will grow with me. Well I downloaded so many HTML editors it wasn't funny any more, and most of them have a 30 day trial period which will expire soon ( uh oh !! ) so I don't know what I'm going to do then !!

Well then I went on holiday to Orlando for a week ( a topic for a future Rant perhaps ?? ) so that put me back a bit. Well finally I just buckled down and set to it. I must have spent HOURS at this computer writing my home page and finally it's ready to be scrutinized by the public !

Now this is going to get a bit like the Oscars as I really must say thank you to everyone who gave me helpful advice on how to make web page, to everyone who has put up with me, to my mum who is 3700 miles away and will never see this page as she's a complete technophobe, and basically, everyone !!
