My Weekly Rant !!

HO HO HO
Merry Christmas, the goose is getting fat
Please put a penny in the old man's hat.
If you ain't got a penny a dime will do.
And if you ain't got a dime then we accept all major debit and credit cards, Visa etc !!
Anyway HO HO HO and a Merry Xmas to you all. Xmas, that’s a bit of a weird word isn’t it. I mean Christmas is named after Christ, right ? But what is the X for ?? I don’t remember a famous X being born !! Weird is another strange word, it is spelt all wrong and doesn’t follow any grammar rules !!
Anyway sorry about that, its Christmas and well, here I am, its been bloody ages since I have posted the Rant, the last one was the thesis thingie which got so many interesting responses. People who thought I* wrote it. People who thought it was aimed at them, and also a bit of a wager going on as to whether it was written by a male or female !! I think I did so well. ;0) And so here I am attempting to write another original Rant, and still no sign of a subject.
However there has to be something to write about, but I can’t think of anything what with me being so busy trying to find Christmas presents for everyone. I have no idea what to buy for anyone and its driving me nuts. How can it be so hard ? I even know what I want to buy most people. I have a great idea for my brother and my mother, even though I had the chance to buy it but left it behind. DOH !! However I just cannot find the stuff anymore, or even at all. Not the best position to be in, especially this close to Xmas, and so my quest continues. I DID go out in an attempt to find some presents, I managed to buy a present for myself that my mom wanted me to get in order that I got the right thing. Don’t ya just hate it when that happens too ? I mean surprises are so cool, but instead some people give you money or ask you what you want, and then give you the money to go out and buy it yourself. Well at least I know that it actually IS ‘something I always wanted’ !! Hmm Quite a fab shopping trip it turned out to be, well for me anyway. However it just doesn’t help the quest for the perfect present.
I will continue to search so wish me luck !!
And whilst I am complaining, 3 weeks before Christmas is the last date for sending Greetings cards abroad. I knew there was a reason I kept a diary, in an attempt to be organised. Double DOH !!
Anyway I hope you all have a most FANTASTIC Christmas and stay tuned to see if I manage to write a New Years Rant. The bets are being taken !! ;0)
