LUCK, LUCK, LUCK, ME

By My Friend in NYC, Curtis the Spinner

Some people always complain about how they feel.
"My finger hurts."
Are they for real?
They should look around and try to see
How much worse off they really could be.
Some suffer and have difficulty just to breathe.
You are not interested?
Please don't leave!
You are not interested in others and how they are feeling?
Even though thery're suffering with a prayful chance of healing?
Many never complain, though they can't hear or see.
By some twist of fate, it could have been you or me.
You say you can't run, but can walk anywhere.
What about those who are bedridden or need a wheelchair?
Some suffer so that it nearly drives them insane.
So, please try to bear it, your little finger pain.
Don't wait until you are ill before you pray
For good health to come back to you someday.
Look around.
Look around.
I beg you, please do.
There are millions who would love to trade places with you.
Compare your problems to others, and you'll see
That you should be saying, " LUCK, LUCK, LUCK, ME!"
