My family and close friends are all Sea-Doo freaks. Utah’s the perfect place to be freaks too, because we have Lake Powell down south (honestly the best boating lake in the world), Willard Bay (a fresh water portion of the Great Salt Lake), and the thousands of mountain lakes and resevoirs all over the place to take our PWC (Personal Water Craft).
We are co-financers of a boat-rental business that we do part-time with our best friends, the Gerlach’s. Together we own a houseboat on Lake Powell, a Sea-Doo Speedster, a Starfire Ski boat (soon to be replaced by a Sea-Doo Challenger 1800), two HX, two XP, two SPX, two GTX, and two GSX. I say this not to brag, but to show just how bad our obsession with Sea-Doo is.
So as you can tell, we always have plenty of toys to play with. And to keep the rental fleet looking pretty, we sell all but two or three of our machines every year and buy new ones every spring. So we’ve always have the best of the best for our customers.....and ourselves, of course :-) . So if you’re interested in buying some virtually new machines that are well taken care of, email me in the fall and I may be able to get you a I-know-the-Boz discount! Pics and stats are below for you to be able to behold Sea-Doo in all its glory.

Lake Powell, Utah

Ultimate sport

The HX is one of Sea-Doo's most powerful machines. It is a one-passenger PWC with a 718cc engine. It accelerates fast enough to make the spray hurt your face and it can turn (literally) on a dime. In the world championships, it won 14 out of the 15 events. Its only drawback is that its high center-of-gravity makes it extremely difficult to pull yourself out of the water when you've thrown yourself off the machine as it tips over easily when sitting still.
XP

The XP is the HX's sister in the supersport PWC category. Slightly larger than the HX, she has the ability to carry two people with her 110hp, 782cc engine. She is also not so top-heavy. The XP is my personal weapon of choice for attacking the waves.
GTX

The GTX is Sea-Doo's most luxurious machine, and is additionally the most powerful 3-seater. Her 782cc engine allows her to pull a skier out of the water faster than most ski boats and can do circles around the ski boat competition. You have never truly experienced water skiing until you have skied behind a Sea-Doo.

SPX

The SPX is another powerful 2-seater, like the XP. However, it has fewer luxuries (such as water temperature gauges and clocks) and is not quite as maneuverable as her older sisters. Stripped down to the balls (which are most important part) she is able to deliver ultimate power without the extra cost of such accesories.

GSX

The GSX is 110hp 2-seater with something to prove. It was on this machine that I first sent myself skipping across the water!

Speedster

The Speedster looks like it’s just a small (16'6") ski boat, but actually, it’s a 5-person WPC. It accelerates and maneuvers just like Sea-Doo's smaller craft with its huge power-to-weight ratio. Capable of doing 360s and 180s (just like it's little brothers and sisters as long as it has a bigger playground), more than once we've had a "fish cop" following us around trying to nail us for doing something illegal, because those old guys (and their law books) aren't used to boats with those capabilites! Hint if you own one: cut the trottle just before the bow pivots into the 360 and you'll get more g-forces and overspray!!!

Challenger

The Challenger 1800 is Sea-Doo's most luxurious and powerful jet boat. It is powered by twin jets, capable of producing 220hp and can fit 7 passengers. It is 17' long and is as spunky as its little bro, the Speedster.
