Timuccuann Ecological and Historical Preserve of Old Florida before development

Sunny Florida is the home for many Gators, Siminoles, Dolphins, Buccaneers and Jaguars. It is famous for its sun, beaches, everglades and wildlife, like the manatee, alligators, egrets and bottlenose dolphins. Here you can see a space shuttle launch at Cape Canaveral or visit many of the several theme parks: Bush Gardens, Silver Springs, Sea World, Universal Studios, and Disney World's Magic kingdom, Epcot and MGM. You already know famous cities like Miami, Tampa and Orlando, and now you can add Jacksonville to that list.

The Jaguars are a fairly new team; who, as an Expansion Team, proved they were a team that should not be underestimated. They went to the AFC playoffs in their second season. And Jaguar fans are very proud to sit in the newly remodeled Stadium. Originally The Gator Bowl, the stadium was renamed the Jacksonville Municipal Stadium and is now Altel Stadium.

Jacksonville is, area-wise, the largest city in U.S. and was the location of the first settlement. Fort Caroline was once a French settlement that was distroyed by the Spanish. And now in it's place is a recreated framed model.

Jacksonville is growing every day and has other sites to see. The Jacksonville Zoological Park is always improving as it grows. And there is also the Jacksonville Landing and The Riverwalk.

Of course Jacksonville has beaches...In fact, it has several...

Atlantic beach, Neptune beach and Jacksonville beach with white sand and warm Atlantic waters.

Jacksonville's neighbour, St. Augustine is very famous in Florida History.

With famous sites such as the Fountain of Youth, Castillo De San Marcos, it was the second settlement in the U.S. Most of the U.S.'s oldest city has been preserved today.

What can I say but who doesn't love Disney World. Disney World has several theme parks but my personal favorite is the Magic kingdom.

I've only been there once and there are some great rides. I recommend T-2 and Back to the future.

From my personal experience, I recommend that you plan your trip so that Universal Studios is the first place you go to. The reason is that, after seeing Bush Gardens and especially Disney, it is difficult to appreciate this park.
