College Life & Friends Since starting college Fall of '97, I have met so many wonderful people. I swear, the people at Tech are just nicer than everybody else or something. I just HAD to do a page dedicated to them because they're so damn cool. I don't have pictures scanned in just yet, but if I can't get anyone to scan in pics for me now, I'll just wait until I go back up to Tech.

Put in reverse alphabetical order for your pleasure ;)

Brian Minnich: An interesting guy-that's for sure. We were in German class together and then I joined a campaign (gaming) of his. I had a good time, even though it sort of fizzled out as everyone had one conflict or another eventually. He was very unique and someone I could talk to about anything from religion to relationships to the great mysteries of life...and we could talk for hours.

Ryan Kucera:A really good photographer and a sweet guy. He helped me out a lot when I was up at Tech. Once he fixed a lawnmower that got broken while I was house-sitting, even though he didn't break it. He likes cars and photography and photographing cars among other things. He's funny, (witty, even)easygoing, honest, and has a big heart.

Dave Kroll:The nicest guy to grace the earth. Seriously. He's always willing to sacrifice for a friend and he cares so deeply for all his friends. He's a really good brother, too (as far as I can tell.) He's REALLY funny and acts very silly sometimes. He can make anyone laugh. I knew I'd miss him when I came home, so Ryan (see above) and I made a life-sized poster of him by tracing him on a big roll of brown paper. It's great. He comes up with these hilarious little songs that just always come to mind and make you laugh. Even in innapropriate situations like work meetings...("It's my sentimental pencil.")

Eric Gano: He's a funny, video game playing forestry major. He's into coffee, games, They Might Be Giants, Space Ghost, drunken parties in the woods, and stuff like that. Getting him and Matt together is dangerous, though, since they're creative/destructive/totally funny together. They live together with Dave. So far, it's pretty interesting. They like to burn SOS pads, shoot cans with these BB guns they bought, and let their dishes go until there just aren't any left. Eric can tell trees apart by taste...sort of.

College Friends That Go To Other Colleges

Jeremy Pawelek: He goes to Western Michigan. I'm so glad I met this guy. He's Aimee's boyfriend and a great friend to me. I haven't known him that long, but it seems like I've known him forever. We can talk about anything and he's very understanding. Quite an interesting person, too. He's incredibly creative and a great deal of fun to be around...Especially in Canada when he's pretending to be gay...He does that so well, I think it scares Aimee!

Aimee Steurer: She's so much fun to hang out with. She's also great to talk to and a good listener. She's into They Might Be Giants as myself and so many of my other friends are, which just adds coolness points... She's just so cool! She's sensitive, but not afraid to stand up to people who piss her off. I admire that in her! I've only known her for a short while (well, as long as I've known Jeremy,) but I feel like we became good friends pretty quickly. She goes to Western with her boyfriend Jeremy. They're a sweet couple. Two of the nicer people I know, for sure!

Meghan Drummond: She's a great gal. She goes to U of M where she's Sarah Cover's roommate and BEST friend. We almost went swing dancing once, but then all sorts of crazy stuff happened and we ended up just going to eat at Mongolian BBQ in Royal Oak! Ah, well, it was for the best. She's a very cheerful person-I mean, come one, with an IQC nick like Sunshine, you can just tell...

More IS Coming!
