Hello everybody, if you haven't guessed already my name is Mark Jansen and
I'm currently 19 years old. I live in the Netherlands in a city of nearly
60,000 inhabitants, called Veenendaal. A city which is pretty much centered
in the country, btw. In my daily life I study Aviation Logistics on the
"Nederlands Luchtvaart College", a big school with many aviation related
educations. The school is located in Hoofddorp, very close to Amsterdam Schiphol
airport, the airport I know quite a lot about.

In my spare time I have many hobbies. You can find a lot about them on this
page, mainly about aviation and Flight Simulator since this is my biggest
hobby. But I also like to listen to pop music (TMF and Radio 538) and to
work on my computer, preferable something with Flight Simulator 98. Besides
computers and FS-related stuff I follow developments in real life (civil)
aviation as well and especially developments around Schiphol Airport and
the Dutch airlines.
Regarding flight simulator, I also fly and "work" for a virtual airline,
TradeWind Caribbean Airlines (TCA). For those of you who don't know: a virtual
airline is a club of enthousiastic people who fly with Flight Simulator 98
according to a line schedule of the "airline" they work for. After the flight
you have to send in a flight report and you receive your payment in Virtual
Caribbean Dollars. For TCA I am running the TCA Intercontinental Department,
which has intercontinental flights from the Caribbean to all over the
world.
My computer was just updated to an AMD K6-2 with 3DNow processor on 333MHz.
I have
128 MB of RAM memory and a 13,6GB harddisk (Western Digital). My computer
system is on the room of the garret of our house. This is actually my hobby
room and also the room where I spend most of my time :-) Furtheron I have
a printer, scanner, cable modem and some joysticks: a Virtual Pilot and Pro
Pedals, both from CH-Products.
In the left frame, you can click on every item you'd like to know more about.
Don't forget to sign my guestbook either!
