when you first plant the seed
you nurture it and hope that it grows
over time it has grown healthy and strong.
Once it blooms it is the most beautiful
thing that a person could have.
We have all planted our seeds of friendship
and we have shared our dreams and hopes
as we have watched it grow.
I am sending you this rose to
show you how much your friendship means to me,
I hope that our friendship lasts forever
if it slowly dies away as some friendships do,
