Clint Eastwood's film is an exciting modern classic that rode off with four 1992 Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Director. Eastwood and Morgan Freeman play retired down-on-their-luck outlaws who pick up their guns one last time to collect a bounty offered by the vengeful prostitutes of the remote Wyoming town of Big Whiskey. Richard Harris is an ill-fated interloper, a colourful killer-for-hire called English Bob. And Best Supporting Actor Oscar winner Gene Hackman is the sly and and brutal local sheriff whose brand of law enforcement ranges from unconventional to ruthless. Big trouble is coming to Big Whiskey.
Writer/Director Oliver Stone, who wrote the intense screenplay for Midnight Express and wrote and directed the highly acclaimed Salvador, has created a personal and searing testament to the men who fought the war in Vietnam. Drawn from Stone's own experience in combat, Platoon relives the fear, the heat, the jungle, the hatreds and the horrors that was daily life for young 'grunts' in Southeast Asia. Seen through the eyes of college drop-out, Chris Taylor(Charlie Sheen), the war is a real nightmare-a private hell of fears from outside and in-with enemies on both sides of the line. His platoon's allegiance is split between leaders Sgt. Barnes(Tom Berenger) and Sgt. Elias(Willem Dafoe) in their powerful Oscar-nominated performances. Friction between the two sergeants leads to a second war, in every way as deadly as the one being waged against the enemy. Feel the power of PLATOON - a gripping, emotional film about a war we might not want to remember, but must never forget.
In a performance that won universal acclaim, Eastwood stars as Frank Horrigan, a veteran Secret Service agent haunted by his failure to protect JFK from assassination. Thirty years later, he gets a chance to redeem himself when a brillant psychopath threatens to kill the current president-and take Horrigan with him. Taunting him by phone and tantalizing him with clues, the assassin(John Malkovich)lures Horrigan into an electrifying battle of wits and will that only one man can survive. Co-starring Rene Russo as Horrigan's risk-taking Field Chief, IN THE LINE OF FIRE is a high-wire balancing act of searing suspense, explosive action and surprising romance.

This was Brandon Lee's last film.
When Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro square off, Heat sizzles. Written and directed by Michael Mann, Heat includes dazzling set pieces and a bank heist. Val Kilmer, Jon Voight, Tom Sizemore and Ashley Judd are among the memorable supporting players in this tale of brillant L.A cop Vincent Hanna(Pacino)following the trail from a deadly armed robbery to a crew headed by master thief Neil McCauley(DeNiro). The trouble is, McCauley's expertise is at least equal to Hanna's...Heat goes beyond the expectations of the cops-and-criminals genre - and into the realm of movie masterpiece.

"Titanic is not just a cautionary tale - a myth, a parable, a metaphor for the ills of mankind. It is also a story of faith, courage, sacrifice, and above all else, love" - Writer/Director James Cameron, 1997
We have finally reached my number one movie of all-time. Arnold Schwarzenegger returns as The Terminator in this explosive action-packed adventure spectacle. His mission: to protect John Connor(Edward Furlong), the boy destined to lead the freedom fighters of the future. His opponent: the T-1000, the most lethal machine ever created, sent back through time to kill young John. His ally: Sarah Connor, John's mother. Linda Hamilton costars, reprising her role as the quintessential survivor, a woman warrior whose warnings go unheeded by a world careening toward a nuclear holocaust she knows is inevitable. Cowritten, produced and directed by James Cameron, T2 is a tour de force of stunts and astounding special effects, built around a touching and emotional human story. Visually stunning, unexpectedly moving, the film is a true epic.
