Beechworth Conference

1999 saw the inaugural Year 11 Conference being held at
La Trobe University's Beechworth campus.

For 3 days, Beechworth's population increased by approximately 150 girls and of course, a few teachers. Accomodation was - to say the least - interesting, with the rumors of haunted rooms and buildings spreading like a wild fire as we discovered that the campus was once a hosipital.

The only thing that most of us will be haunted by is the recurring voice in our heads muttering 'I am a psychologist' when ever the conference is mentioned.....

As you can see we are a rather large bunch of gals, numbering about 150, as I said before...

The picture was taken in front of the main conference hall where we spent much of our time eating and attending lectures over the three days.
