Fall 1998: I'm a TA for Calc III at Stevens Tech. Just started working on my Masters in Math. I like reading, swimming, biking, hanging out with my friends, and generally having a good time. I'm learning more things each day. Learning from school, from my students, from life. But I have learned that it takes time to learn who your real friends are and even longer to figure the rest out.
Spring 1999: I'm still working on my Masters, but instead of Calc III, I'm TA-ing Calc IV this semester. And I realized how much I really don't know, and its not even that my students necessarily know more than I do...I am just not as with it as I thought...
Fall 1999: This semester I am TA-ing for Discrete Math, and I love it. This is the course that I took undergrad that convinced me I should be a math major. Its a great course! (sorry to any of my students who check out this page and cringe) And somehow I am getting to where I want to be, maybe not the way I had hoped or as soon as I hoped, but I will get there!
Spring 2000: This semester I am TA-ing for Discrete Math again, and STILL I love it. I am taking next year off though. I need to take a break from school and get healthy.
Fall 2000: All those of you who don't know...I have a son now. A BEAUTIFUL little boy, named Matthew Alexander. He is the best thing that could ever have happened to me. If you don't see pics, I will have some up eventually. I do not get the chance to update my page too often...so please be patient.
Spring 2001: I am applying to Rowan for a Graduate Assistantship. I need to get back to school and finish up my Masters before I put it off and don't go back...
Fall 2001: Matt is 1 year old now, walking and babbling for all he is worth. I am back in school. Teaching and taking classes. I am currently an adjunct at Gloucester County College teaching "Introduction to Mathematics", and working at Rowan U. as a Grad Assistant in the Basic Skills/Tutoring Office teaching Basic Algebra to freshman. I am also taking 3 classes, and teaching GMAT/GRE prep classes part-time. Read into this--NO FREE TIME. I love my family, they have been a God send for me. I would not be able to be back in school without them. Thank you Mom & Dad, Jeff, Rob, 0LoAnn & Harry, Lou, Bernadette, & Nick, GM, GP,& Sharon. Your love and support are wonderful! Thank you for giving me the freedom to go back to school and finish my Masters so I can support Matt to the fullest of my abilities.
