BRIAN'S INTERVIEW
SB- If I were to have met Brian before Backstreet boys, how would
you have described yourself then?
Brian- Like I would describe myself now, what you see is what
you get. I'm very personable, I'm
very open, I can be very friendly, very emotional. Those are just
differnt qualities. I'm a comedian,
I love to make people laugh.
SB- Where does that come from?
Brian- I think that from my family, I had an uncle who I grew
up with all the time and he used to
immitate Jim Varney, The guy who did all the Ernist goes to Camp
and all those movies. My father
actually went to school with that man. It was just something to
do, entertain people, so I was
always a big ham, singing and just doing funny things, fally on
my face just to get a laugh.
SB- Did you know then that you wanted to do it professionaly or
was it just for fun?
Brian- It was for fun. It was just something that was a part of
my life. It lifted me up and lifted up
others around me.
SB-So if I were to have asked you when you were 8 years old, Brian
what do you want to be when your a big boy, what would you have
answered back then?
Brian- Oh, I probably would have wanted to be a professional basketball
player.
SB- Is this something you've purchase with a little bit of the
money you've been making (his B-Rok chain)
Brian- The money I was saving I purchased this.
SB- This is B-Rok. Where does that come from, the name?
Brian- The name is actually playing basketbll. In the US it's
slang for shooting basketball or
shooting the rok thats what they call it. We were working wit
ha vocal coach about 2 1/2 years ago
and he like to play basketball too so we were playing Basketball
and he started calling me B-Rok
and it just caought on. The guys just started Calling me that.
SB- What do you want to accomplish now that has nothing to do
with music?
Brian- I want to get married and I want to have a family.
SB- What kind of girl do you like?
Brian- One that can put up with me.
SB- Are you hard to put up with?
Brian- I don't think I'm hard to put up with.
SB- Have you been in love before?
Brian- I've been in love before, I thought it was, but who know
until your married and you've took
your vows and you grow up. Who know what life has in store, those
are just goal I have deep
down inside because i was brought up as a family man, in a small
family, but yet it was a lot of love
and a lot of carring and it's just something I want to pass on.
