CHAPTER 1: GETTING READY FOR CAMP!

"I'm so glad that we can all get together like this for our birthdays!" Karine said, during the joint birthday party of Laura, Karine and Tara.
"Dont worry LeeAnna! We'll all get together for your birhtday too" Laura said, glancing at LeeAnna at the table.
"So what exactly are we going to do for the next two weeks?" Karine asked Tara, since Tara was making all the plans.
"I've booked a really awesome campsite in Algonquin Park, I thought it would be nice if the four of us could all go camping for two weeks! Celebrate being away from school, and summer! You guys do have your own tents right?" Tara asked everyone.
Everyone nodded their heads, and then smiled and laughed.
After the girls left Pizza Hut, they headed back to Taras house, where all of their camping equipment was, and where everyone was spending the night.
"Hey what do u wanna do?" Karine said, as they got back to Taras house.
"Lets go on mIRC.. and see whos on!" Laura suggested. The girls went into the computer room, and went on the internet.
"You sure do have alot of posters over your room!" Laura said, looking at all four walls and ceiling of Tara's room, all covered with BSB and Nick, and N SYNC.
"i could sleep in here everynight!" Karine said, looking at all the pictures of AJ all over the wall, especially noticing the shirtless poster.
"Now you guys know why I love my room soo much" Tara said smiling.
"Im setting the alarm for 5:00am, girls! It takes 6 hours to get to Algonquin, and we have stops to make along the way.. so make sure you guys are up!" Tara said. Tara climbed into the top bunk ofher bed, and Karine had the bottom bunk, while Laura and LeeAnna slept on the floor in sleeping bags.

* * * * * * *Its tearing up my heart when Im with you, and when we are apart I feel it too.. and no matter what I do I feel the pain, with or without you" Tara's alarm clock went off on her CD player, playing Tearing Up My Heart by N SYNC.
After the girls woke up, they packed Tara's parents lumina van, which they were borrowing from her parents, and headed off to Algonquin Park.
Inside the van, Tara turned on her Backstreet Boys/ N SYNC driving tape that listens to whenever she drives, this time, she turned it up kind of loud, so she wouldnt fall asleep at the wheel. Karine was sitting in the passenger seat, with a map in her hand, and Laura and LeeAnna were in the middle row of seats. In the back, they stored their four tents, coolers, bags of clothes, the dining shelter, and other camping facilities.

At around 7:30am, the girls were stuck in Toronto traffic.
"No wonder why my parents dont like me driving in Toronto" Tara said to herself. Tara looked in the backseat, to see Laura and LeeAnna asleep, Karine was still awake in the passenger side.
"Want to stop to get something to eat?" Karine asked Tara
"yeah, Im planning to go to this stop in Barrie, about another hour away from here. They have a really cool huge McDonalds there along the highway, that we can stop at" Tara said. Traffic started to move, and the girls were on their way once again.
At about 8:30, Tara pulled into the huge McDonalds, and woke up everyone for breakfast.
Tara ordered the big breakfast, since all that driving made her hungry! Karine had an order of pancakes. Laura had a big breakfast also, and LeeAnna had cereal with some orange juice.
At about 9:15, the girls headed towards the car, refueled, and started their journey again, only three and a half more hours to go.

About 10 minutes later, at the very same McDonalds in Barrie, Justin and Lance step out of their car, and ordered breakfast.
"How far away is Algonquin?" Justin asked Lance.
Lance looked up from his plate of food, "about three and a half hours. We're spending our first night in a hotel in Huntsville though, becuz someone is in our site till tomorrow. We're in site 350. The lady on the phone said its very secluded, theres only one other site near us, and thats the one right beside us" Lance said, as he grabbed a Toronto paper.
