DREAMS

Dreams. Why do I have a page on dreams? Well, I think dreams are really neat. Also, God speaks to us in dreams (Numbers 12:6 and Joel 2:28). I will give you a list on why I think God allows us to dream. This is my opinion, and you can read it and think about it. Then you can decide for yourself why you think we have dreams.

Why do I think we have dreams:

1. God will speak to you through dreams. (Sometimes He will give you answers to problems in your life through dreams.
2. I also believe that dreams are tests. God tests you to see what you will do in certain circumstances. Dreams sometimes make me see how I really am. I see the real me, which many times is not what I would like. Think about the dreams you have. Are they tests?
3. Will make us appreciate life! I love these dreams. They are so precious! I mean, if you have had this dream then you will know what I am talking about. Example: I watched a cartoon “The Flintstones”. Well, on one of the many episodes, they have one where Fred falls into a deep sleep. He dreams of all these things, and dreams that he either gets really old or he dies. One of those. Well, good ol’ Fred is frightened in his dream. Finally, Fred wakes up, and everything is back to usual. Good ol’ Barney, Betty, Wilma, Pebbles and Bam-Bam. Yep! Everything was normal. Fred felt awesome. ANOTHER CHANCE! I believe Fred was thinking that. Then in my well-liked show, “It’s a Wonderful Life”. (I recommend this show. It makes you appreciate life, for what it is. If you haven’t seen it yet, then watch it! It is rated “G” I believe, so none of that bad stuff. I won’t tell you about it, because it would give the ending of it all away!)
4. He warns us! (Job 33:15&16 is: 15 Sometimes in the night, he uses terrifying dreams 16 to give us warnings.) This is one of the different ways God speaks to us. (Job 33:14 is: God speaks in different ways, and we don’t always recognize his voice.)

I hope that this page can help you to recognize God’s voice more.

***What do you think about dreams, and their purpose? Tell me in my guestbook, and perhaps I will publish it on my page***

Now, I have gave my opinion. Let’s look into the Word of God, and see what it has to say about dreams…

Ecclesiastes 5:3 is: If you keep thinking about something, you will dream about it…(My Thought: Our dreams should always glorify the Lord. No matter what! Think about good things, and you will dream about good things.)

Philippians 4:8 is: Finally, my friends, keep your minds on whatever is true, pure, right, holy, friendly, and proper. Don’t ever stop thinking about what is truly worthwhile and worthy of praise.

Dreams are neat. Some dreams are scary. (Especially the ones when you are running from someone scary, and you run like ten times slower than in real life. Hehe.) Whatever dreams you may have, make the best out of them, and make them glorify God!... You control your dreams. Have God control you and your dreams!
