I sat in the center of the second row in the orchestra, so my experience was unforgettable. I was looking for some extra info on the Angel company, which I just saw last week in San Francisco. I still haven't come down from this experience. It was my first time finally seeing the show, and I need to see it again. It's a necessity. Daphne Rubin-V ga was so adorable. Kamilah Martin in the role of Joanne was great too. The performance we saw had understudy/ensemble cast member Alicia Westelburg in the role of Maureen, and she was great, Trey Ellet in the role of Mark also gave a moving performance. loved every last minute of it.I had no complaints at all. I went with my friend, who knew very little about the show, and she loved it ...well, almost as much as I did.

I just saw the Angel Cast last week in L.A. I have seen the show 3 times and this was by far the best one. Daphne Rubin-Vega is a freaking DIVA! I went to get rush tickets a few days later but was too late. There is a shopping center nearby so I went ther , and "Angel"(Shaun Earl, I think) was there with "JoAnne". I told them how I appreciated the show and they were very nice. There were a couple of ensemble cast members that were there as well, and they were all very gracious. i am going again on Sunday i hopes of getting tickets. I travel to visit my fiance who lives four hours North of me and my recording of the Broadway cast of RENT is all that keeps me sane. I have even taken him to see it and for someone who is not a theatre kinda guy, he thought it was incredible. The smell of the Greyhound always reminds me of RENT. I also work at Legal Aid so we are just happy to be mentioned in the second act.
