Back at the hotel, Tara, Karine and Denise had finished their supper, and joined the rest of the boys at the pool. Tara noticed that Nick wasnt there, and thought that he probably just decided to eat his McDonalds at McDonalds, so thought nothing of it.
When Tara, Karine and Denise entered the pool area, Tara was a little shaky, remembering the last time that she was in the pool. Brian came over to Tara and put his arm around her shoulder.
"Dont worry Frackette, we're here with ya!" Brian said. Tara smiled and thanked Brian. Brian grinned back at her, then picked her up and jumped in the pool with her.
An hour and a half later, everyone got out of the pool and dried off, then headed into the bar area for a drink, however, Tara had a chocolate milk, since she was only 18. Karine had a pop, so Tara wouldnt feel alone, being the only one underage and not drinking.
Justin entered the bar room, and joined Karine and Tara's table, since he is 16.
"Hey girls" Justin said, sitting down in the empty seat.
"Hey Justin" Tara said, swirling her straw in her glass.
"Whats up?" Justin asked.
"Nothing really.. just came back from a swim!" Karine said.
"IM waiting to get out of here" Tara said, then let out a little laugh. "one things for sure.. im never staying in another Toronto hotel again".
Everyone let out a little laugh after Tara made that comment.
"Well, its 10pm. Im going up to my room..." Tara said, letting out a yawn.
"I'll walk you up there, you shouldnt go by yourself" Justin said.
Tara and Justin took the elevator to the top floor, and he walked her to her door.
"Man, you guys got the awesome floor" Justin said, amazed.
"what floor are you on?" Tara asked.
"Oh we're a few below you" Justin asked "We're not as priveleged as the BSB!" and then he let out a little laugh. Tara smiled back.
"Thanks for walking up with me to my room. Nick should be back by now.. He left like, 3 hours ago!" Tara said. "I'll see you tomorrow ok?"
"sure thing! Good night! Have a good sleep!" Justin said. Tara unlocked her door, and then went inside. Justin sat down on the chair in the hallway for a minute, thinking about Tara. Justin had a crush on Tara, however he knew nothing could become of them because Tara was Nicks, and they were engaged. He also knew that Tara loves Nick very much, and would never leave him.
Tara didnt see Nick in the living room of their suite, so she headed into the bedroom. No sign of Nick anywhere. Everything was the exact same as the way she had left it. Tara picked up his cell phone, which had been left behind, and called his guard.
"Hey, wheres Nick?" Tara asked.
"What are you talking about, isnt he with you?" the guard asked.
"No! He went to McDonalds 3 hours ago and isnt back yet!!" Tara said worried. The guard hung up right away and started to look for Nick.
"OH GOD!!!! Please dont let anything happen to Nick!!!" Tara screamed out loud. Tara ran into the hallway, where Justin was still sitting. Justin stood up, seeing Tara was upset.
"Whats wrong?" Justin asked.
"Nicks not home yet... and he ONLY went to McDonalds.. 3 hours ago!! Somethigns happened to him.." Tara said worried, and looked as though she was going to cry. Justin gave Tara a hug, and then took her downstairs to where the rest of the group still was.
"Whats wrong Tara?" Brian asked, seeing Tara walk in very upset.
"Brian.. Nicks not back yet! He left three hours ago.. to go to McDonalds.. which is FIVE MINUTES away! Somethings happened to him..." Tara said, starting to cry again. Brian gave Tara a hug, while everyone listened closely to what Tara had said.
"We'll find him, Tara! Dont you worry..." Brian assured Tara, hugging her while she cried.
The boys decided that they would have to split up into groups of two to look for Nick. Brian would go with Tara, Karine and AJ, Kevin and Denise, Justin and Chris, JC and Lance.
Everyone split up into opposite directions. JC and Lance were to explore the hotel, while Justin and Chris explored the hotel surroundings. Brian and Tara were to explore the areas leading to, and around McDonalds. Karine and AJ decided to go uptown, with Kevin and Denise, and search Younge Street.
JC and Lance searched the hotel, with no luck at all. They searched the BSB's floor, the lobby, all the workers rooms, the kitchen, pool room, everywhere, with no sign of Nick.
Justin and Chris searched the outside area of the hotel, including parking lots, bushes, park, and the area along the harbour.. no sign of Nick.
Tara and Brian went to McDonalds and asked about Nick. The workers remember him being there, and left alone. That means something had happened to him from McDonalds, and home. Tara and Brian scavenged and searched the area walking slowly back to the hotel. While passing the alley between the areas, Tara's foot hit something. Looking down, she saw a wallet. Tara picked up the black leather wallet, and opened it up.
NICHOLAS GENE CARTER was the name in the wallet, with all of his ID's and cards.
"Brian!! Look!" Tara showed Brian the wallet.
"Come on!!!" Brian said, grabbing Taras hand, and following the alley to wherever it lead.
AJ and Karine were downtown with Kevin and Denise.
"Im really cold!" Karine said, shivering from the coldness it was outside.
"We can stop by the Skdome and pick up one of my jackets.. I accidentally left it there last week" AJ said. AJ and Karine headed towards the Skydome.
"Hey.. aren't we near the Skydome?" Brian asked, looking around the area where the Alley ended.
"Yeah... its two blocks away" Tara said.
"I have this feeling that we should go there..." Brian said.
"What makes you think that, Bri?" Tara asked.
"I dont know.. but all I know is.. how many places can you go with NICK CARTER.. where you can be safely away from fans?" Brian said.
"Good point.. lets go!" Tara said.
AJ and Karine reached the Skydome, and AJ took out his key to the backstage and stepped inside. It was pitch black inside, so AJ took out his lighter and barely lit the path to the dressing room, where his jacket was. Karine and AJ entered the dressing room, where they found AJ's jacket.. and where they also found NICKS jacket.
"Hey.. isnt this the jacket Nick was wearing today?!?" Karine asked, picking the jacket up.
"shhh!!!!!" AJ said, realizing that Nick was somewhere in the skydome, and that someone had to be with him.
AJ stopped his lighter, so no one could see them.
"Karine.. we're going to have to split up for the sake of Nick!! We have to find him!" AJ said.
"Alex.. thats not a good idea!" Karine said.
"Hunny.. we have to! Meet me back here.. in 20 minutes!!" With that, AJ ran off down the dark hallway.
AJ looked around the levels of the floors of the stadium, and then decided to check out the box areas. As he reached the box seating area, he saw a light coming from one of the little rooms on the side.
AJ slowly crept across the hallway, and looked into the room and saw Nick tied up in a chair.
"Nick!!!" AJ said, walking into the room.
AJ started to untie Nick when he heard the door close behind him.
AJ turned around.
"Oh My God..." was all AJ could say.
