Everyone got up at 7am the next morning to start travelling to the next venue town, which was about a days drive away.
The Boys didnt have their next concert until the next night, which gave them all day and night to travel. On bus number one, Nick and Tara fell asleep sharing Nicks bunk together, sleeping in tight space of his cubbyhole bunk. He had his arms wrapped around her, holding her very close to him. Her chin was resting on his shoulder, her face facing his, her arms around his upper stomach area. Both of them were asleep with smiles on their faces.
Brian and Leigh Anne couldnt get back to sleep, so they went into the back of the bus, where the TV room was to watch some morning shows.
In bus number 2, Karine had gone to sleep in her bunk and pulled over the curtain for privacy. AJ was up in the back, watching videos, while Kev and Howie were fixing themselves some breakfast.
In bus 3, all of the Danay, Nikki and Veronica were asleep, while Amanda and Mandy were up discussing their "AJ" and "Nick" plans.
The day was long, since all they did was drive and drive. Traffic was good, and so was the weather, making the boys arrive at the next town earlier than they expected, at 2am the next morning. It was too late to hang out, so everyone went up to their rooms and went to sleep.
Later that morning, the group got up and did the usual tour schedule, eat breakfast, practise, interviews, practise, supper, warm up and then the show. The Alberta show went very well. The concert lasted about 3 hours altogether.
After the show, there was a party at the local dance club.
"Are you coming Frack?" Brian asked, holding Leigh Annes hand.
"Yeah, we're coming" Nick said, grabbing his wallet and Taras hand, and then left with Frick and Leigh Anne. Along the way, they stopped off at AJ and Karine's room to see if they were coming.
"Im coming" Karine said, grabbing her purse and walked into the hall.
"uhh, wheres Bone?" Brian asked.
"He'll come later" Karine said "lets go". Everyone looked at everyone, and then at Karine, who was walking down the hallway.
"trouble in paradise.." Nick said quietly to the little group that had formed, and then walked off to catch up with Karine.
When they got to the club, the lights were out, and the lazers flashing. The music was loud, the floor thumping along with the beat of the bass and drums. If you were to talk to people, you'd have to talk really loudly to hear over the music. When they got there, Getting Jiggy With It was playing.
"oh come on.. lets go dance to this one Nick!" Tara said, dragging Nick out onto the dancefloor. Nick and Tara danced closely together, like most couples usually do, and were enjoying themselves quite much. Mandy got annoyed and jealous of looking at Nick and Tara being soo happy together, so she went out and started dancing with Howie, cuz Howie had asked her to dance.
"Want to dance Karine?" AJ asked, trying to see what was wrong with her. He knew she was mad at him, but he didnt know what for.
"No" Karine yelled over the loud music.
"Why Not?" He yelled back.
"I dont want to" She screamed back. She got up and went over to the bar to order a drink. AJ sat down at the table where Amanda, Nikki, Danay and Kev were.
"Whats wrong man?" Kevin asked.
"I dont know.. somethings up with Karine. Shes acting soo different since we've been on tour.." He said, kind of frowning.
"Things will turn out alright.. dont worry about it, man!" Kevin said, patting AJ on the back.
"Wanna dance?" Amanda asked AJ. AJ looked up at her and smiled.
"Sure, why not.." He replied. Amanda and AJ got up out of their seats and went onto the crowded dance floor to start dancing together.
"Would you like to dance, Danay?" Kevin asked.
"Id love to!" she replied. She took Kevins hand, which was held out for her, and he led her out to the dancefloor.
When Karine came back from the bar, she returned to the table where Nikki was.
"hey Nikki" Karine said, sipping her drink.
"Hey Karine" Nikki said.
"Whered Alex go?" Karined asked, as she looked around. Suddenly, she spotted AJ in the dancefloor, dancing closely with Amanda. The tune of the music changed, as a slow song slowly came on over the loud speakers. Nick wrapped his arms around Tara, pulling her as close to him as he could, which meant she was like glue on him, as he kissed her slowly while they danced. Kevin and Danay were slowdancing together. Kevin, being the gentleman he is, makeing sure he wasnt too close to her. Karine looked over at AJ again, who just asked Amanda to dance with him, and the two of them started to dance. Karine gulped down her drink quickly this time, and went over to the bar to get another one.
At around 1am, the group left the club. AJ had noticed that Karine was gone, and asked if anyone had seen her.
"I saw her earlier, she left to go back to the hotel" Nikki replied.
"oh" he said, a bit worried about her. He loved Karine, and wanted to settle this fight they were in, even though he didnt know why they were fighting for.
When everyone arrived back at the hotel, Nick and Tara went straight up to their room, because they were eager to go make love to one another. Brian and Leigh Anne did the same. Kevin spent some time with Danay downstairs, just talking. Mandy was tired and went back to her room to go get some sleep, same with Nikki, Veronica and Amanda.
AJ took the elevator up to the floor where his room was, and unlocked the door. Karine was sitting in the chair, her eyes were red with tears, and she seemed to appear a little drunk.
"Karine! Ive been looking for you! why didnt you tell me you were leaving!? I would have came back with you" AJ asked worried. He appeared a little upset.
"You were too busy to even think about me, Alexander McLean.." Karine said meanly.
"what are you talking about?" AJ asked, not understanding.
"You, and.. and.. A-MAN-DA" Karine said drunkly.
"what about me and Amanda, we were dancing, thats all!" AJ admitted. Even though he was telling the truth, Karine didnt believe him.
"The truth is, I saw you.. dancing close with her.. dancing slowly with her.. I saw the look on your face, and the look on hers. And two nights ago.. you didnt even remember I was there when you were playing pool with her.." Karine said, starting to cry and get upset.
"Karine, its not what you think! I love you! I wouldnt ever cheat on you" AJ said, becoming upset himself.
Karine stood up and pointed at AJ.
"Yeah.. right.. YOU, Alexander Mclean.. are a PLAYER and always will be" Karine said. Karine grabbed her stomach and started to cough, she was going to be sick. AJ knew she was drunk, so he rushed her into the bathroom where she got sick into the toilet.
"I... I dont need you to take care of me.. Im a big girl" Karine said.
"Karine, you're drunk... your need to sleep it off.." AJ said.
"NO" Karine screamed. "Im not getting into bed with you, you.. cheater"
AJ picked up Karine and took her into the bedroom, placing her in the bed. He emptied the wastebucket and put it by her head incase she needed it if she was to be sick again. Shortly after she passed out, AJ stripped down to his boxers, and fell asleep on the couch with a comforter.
The next morning, AJ woke up to find a note on the desk. He picked it up to read what it had to say.
AJ,
Even though I was quite drunk last night, I somehow still remembered what happened at the club and in the hotel room. Thank you for taking care of me when I was sick.
I think we need some time apart from one another, time for us to think about our relationship, and seeing if it really is worth saving, and how important we are to eachother. The best way to do this, is if we break up for awhile. Im sorry I have to do this, but I realise that this is the only way to tell if we are truely meant to be together.
I do love you, Alex, and I want to be with you, but I need some time, and I think we need to figure out, if WE are right.

AJ's eyes welled up with tears, as he crumbled up the letter, let out a loud scream and threw the letter across the room.
"Whats going on???" Nick screamed thru the door, knocking loudly. Nick opened the door, which was unlocked from when Karine left, and entered the room. AJ threw a fit and began throwing things around the room out of anger.
"whoa, man, chill out!! whats going on???" Nick said, standing back so he wouldnt get hit. AJ wouldnt talk to him at first, and just kept saying things like "how could she do this?".
AJ got tired out of throwing things, and he fell down onto the couch.
Nick ran over and sat down on the chair across from him.
"whats going on, man.. why did you scream for?" Nick asked.
"Karine broke up with me.." AJ said.
"What?!?" Nick asked, surprised and shocked.
"She thinks that I am cheating on her with Amanda, and she thinks that we need some time apart from eachother, to realize what we really want.." AJ said "she also said that being apart will make us realize if we are meant for one another.." AJ put his head into his hands, staring at the floor so Nick couldnt see him cry.
"man.. im.. really sorry.." Nick said, going over to AJ to give him a hug. Nick was a sensitive guy but he only showed it in private.
AJ hugged Nick back and cried for a little bit.
"Why d..did she do this to me?? I.. I.. never cheated on her.. I never would have.." AJ said, stuttering.
