The day after the dance was friday, which meant it was finally the weekend! Tonight was also Halloween Night!!!
Karine rushed out of her class back to her dorm room, to get things ready for Halloween. There was going to be a huge party at the fraternity house, and all of the campus was invited. Karine unlocked her door, and shut it behind her after she entered her room. She threw her books on her bed and ran into the bathroom to have a shower.
While she was in the shower, her phone started to ring.
"hello?" Karine said, bringing the cordless into the shower with her.
"Karine? What are you doing?" AJ asked smoothly.
"Oh hey AJ.. you just caught me in the shower" Karine said.
"Oh really?" AJ said flirtingly. "Are you going to that party tonight?"
"Yeah, thats what Im getting ready for" Karine said laughing.
"Alright! I just wanted to know if you were going, I'll see you there!" AJ said.
"ok bye!" Karine said, and then she threw the phone over on the towel, and finished her shower.
AJ went to the costume palace and picked up his reserved costume, which was the phantom of the opera. On his way back, he stopped off at the dorms to go pay a visit to his buddy Jason.
"Hey man..."Jason said, half stoned.
"Jay! Buddy... Can I ask a favor or you?" AJ said, shutting the door behind him so no one could hear.
"yeah, sure.. whatever it is, man" Jason said.
"You know midterms are coming up next week.. and I really really need a fix, for that. Help me stay awake and all.. got anything?" AJ said.
"Yeah sure... I got some of this new stuff..." Jason went over to his backpack and pulled out a bag that was wrapped up.
"how much?" AJ asked, pulling out his wallet.
"thirty bucks... theres alot" Jason said, sniffing.
"Thanks man.. see ya later" AJ grabbed the bag, giving Jason the money and took off before anyone could see. Turning around the corner, AJ bumped into Karine.
"AJ! What are you doing here?" Karine asked.
"I.. uhm.. I was coming to see you!" AJ said.
"I thought I was going to meet you at the party" Karine said.
"Yeah, well.. I thought Id see if you wanted a ride. We have to stop off at my house first tho" AJ said.
"Sure.." Karine said. "I havent picked out my costume yet tho"
"Are you making one?" AJ asked.
"Yeah.. hold on.. i'll go grab some clothes..I'll just change at your house" Karine said. Karine went to her room and opened her closet and grabbed a few things.
"oh, lets go!" Karine said.
Nick entered his house after school, and went into the kitchen to get something to eat. After finding some food, he sat down at the table, smiling to himself. Jane walked in to see Nick smiling very happily.
"Well you seem very happy this afternoon.." Jane said, not knowing the news yet.
"I am!" Nick said happily.
"How was your date last night with Cyndi?" Jane asked.
"oh.. it was horrible" Nick said.
"Why are you soo happy then?" his mother asked, looking strangely at her son.
"Well, you see, at the dance last night, I came to realize that I really like Tara, feelings of more than a friend" Nick said. Jane seemed happy to hear this news, she always liked Tara.
"And, last night, I found out that Cyndi was only using me because I was in the BSB, so I kind of left her at the dance, and danced with Tara to my favourite song, which just happened to start playing, and then I kissed her.." Nick said.
"You kissed her?" Jane repeated, sitting down at the table. "How did she take it?"
"Mom, Did you know that she liked me back? Cuz she does! She likes me, more than a friend! And kissing her was the best thing I ever did, because it made us confess what we really feel for eachother" Nick said. "And so I drove her home, and we talked, and we're going to try to have a relationship" Nick said happily.
"Thats really nice, hun!! Congratulations" Jane hugged her son. "And I always thought that she liked you.." Jane smiled.
"What are your plans for tonight?"
"Well, I thought Tara and I would take Aaron and Angel trick or treating, and then maybe go out for a night on the town or something" Nick said.
"You dont have to take the twins out, I can take them out" Jane said.
"No mom, its okay! I dont mind, neither does Tara!" Nick said.
"And anyways! Aaron's been bugging me to take him" Nick said laughing. Jane laughed, and then got up to start supper. Nick ran upstairs go relax before getting ready for Halloween.
"Come on buddy, lets go! We have to go pick up Tara" Nick said to Aaron, who was dressed up as a vampire.
"Angel, you ready? We're trick or treating in Taras neightbourhood first" Nick yelled. Angel came running down the stairs dressed up as Sporty Spice. The twins got in Nicks car, and they took off to Tara's house. Nick was dressed up as Romeo, from Romeo and Juliet. He looked a lot like Leo did in Romeo and Juliet.
Tara came down the stairs wearing a beautiful big light blue silky gown, she was dressed as a princess.
"wow, you look.. sooo.. amazing" Nick said, as he held out his hand for Tara's and kissed it. Aaron and Angel giggled behind him. Nick shot them a glance, and Tara blushed.
Nick and Tara took Aaron and Angel around Tara's neighbourhood, and then they drove back to the Carters neighbourhood and trick-or-treated there. At about 9pm, Nick and Tara brought Aaron and Angel home, and then took off to go out alone.
"so, what do you want to do?" Nick asked.
"Doesnt matter to me, as long as Im with you!" Tara said. Nick smiled at her, and then gave her a soft kiss.
"Want to go into town, see what action is up there?" Nick asked.
"sure!" Tara said.
Karine and AJ went to the fraternity house, Karine as a bellydancer and AJ as the Phantom of The Opera. The party had started about an hour ago, so not that many people were drunk, yet. Since it was a frat party, it wouldnt be long till most of the boys were drunk, trying to make out with some of the drunken girls.
"want something to drink?" AJ asked Karine.
"No thanks.. I dont want to drink tonight" Karine said carefully.
"ok.." AJ said, and then he got himself a drink.
Over the next couple of hours, AJ had a few drinks, and was kind of tipsy, and was still having more and more drinks. Karine tried to slow his drinking down, but he wouldnt listen.
At around 11pm, AJ was totally blasted. Not knowing he was doing, he climbed up onto the table near the middle of the room and started doing a little strip tease. Karine pulled him down before he started to undo his pants, and she rushed him out of the frat house.
"Where are we going?" AJ asked.
"We're going home!" Karine said.
"Do I get to score?" AJ asked, drunken. Karine looked at him.
"No AJ" Karine said forcefully, and she drove AJ back to his house. Karine found AJ's keys, and opened the door to his house. As soon as AJ entered the house, he turned a funny shade of green, and Karine rushed him to the nearest toilet that he could find. AJ had missed the toilet a bit, and ended up throwing up a little on himself. Karine tried to help him clean up, but he was no help. Karine took him upstairs, where she changed only his shirt. Karine got a bucket and placed it near his bed, and told AJ to go to sleep.
Karine went downstairs and fell asleep on AJ's couch.
At around 11pm, Nick and Tara walked around, and eventually wound up at their old school, Orange Grove Junior High.
"You know what?" Nick said, holding onto Taras hand as they walked through the schoolyard.
"What?" Tara asked, smiling.
"This is where we first met" Nick said.
Tara smiled and gave Nick a kiss. Nick kissed her back and smiled back at her.
Nick led Tara over to a swing, sat her down, and they started to push her on the swing.
"You were the best thing that happened to me in my elementary school years, I never forgot about you either" Nick said.
"I never forgot about you, Nick! And when I saw you in the Backstreet Boys, I kept up on the info about you! And I went to all the concerts around here that I could make" Tara said proudly.
"I must admit, I did not recognize you when I first saw you this september" Nick said.
"Its been 6 or 7 years since you last saw me Nick, we've both changed soo much" Tara said. Nick stopped her swing, and held onto the chains tightly.
"Im so glad we're together, now" Nick said "This feels soo right"
"It feels soo right for me too, Nick. You know how much I like you" Tara said. Nick leaned in and gave her another kiss.
"Lets have some fun... like old times.." Nick said.
Nick stood Tara up, and then ran away from her, climbing up the huge climber, and standing at the top.
Tara ran after Nick, and climbed up also, trying to catch Nick, who kept running away from her.
"come and catch me!" Nick said, and then he stuck his tongue out at Tara and slid down the pole. Tara laughed and then ran over to the pole, sliding down behind him, and he ran around the schoolyard equipment. Tara climbed back on the climber, and hid where Nick couldnt see her. Nick was still running, not looking behind him, so he didnt know that she hid on him.
Nick ran back to the climber and Tara jumped right behind him, pushing him down to the ground, where she landed ontop of him. Nick laughed as he plunged to the ground, and Tara landing on him.
"You caught me" Nick said, laughing, and moving Tara's hair behind her ears. Nick reached his hands up and put them behind Taras head, and pulled her to him to kiss her for awhile.
Nick and Tara stayed at the playground for awhile longer, and then headed back to Tara's house, to drop her off after their date.
Meanwhile, at AJ's house, AJ woke up a few times during the night to be sick, not knowing that Karine was downstairs asleep on his couch.
