Tara headed down the driveway with Justin, who was yanking on her arm to go with him. Tara tried to talk to Jusitn but he wouldnt let her say a word right now, not at that moment. He slammed the door behind her after he made her get into his car, and slammed his door behind him, quickly taking off down the driveway.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" Tara screamed to Justin.
"Im getting you out of here, away from Nick"
"What makes you think I want to leave?" Tara screamed back.
"Cuz you're going to be with me. I love you, and I'm going to protect you from him" Justin said.
"Protect me from him? he hasnt done anything wrong, Justin!" Tara screamed.
Justin started to pick up speed.
"He forced you into having sex with him on spring break!" Justin screamed back.
"HE DIDNT FORCE ME!!!" Tara screamed back. She looked out the window, as Justin turned his face to hers.
"It just happened... I did it willingly.." Tara said sadly.
"its all his fault, Tara. He made you confused, thats all... and I understand that.." Justin said. He wouldnt accept the idea knowing that Tara slept with Nick willingly, not because of confusion.
"My head is perfectly fine.. Im not confused anymore!" Tara said "and where the hell are you taking me?"
"to my house.. we're leaving for tour tomorrow"
"What?!?! Justin, Im not going to go"
"You are coming with me, Tara" Justin said "I'll just buy you all new clothes when we get there"
There was no way he was going to let her stay at home with Nick Carter.
Back at the Carter house, AJ took Nick inside to help him get cleaned up. AJ took Nick upstairs to his room, and got him some ice for the bruised jaw and cheese. Nick had some bruises also along his back, from when Justin punched him down and he fell off of his chair.
"How the hell could Timberlake have found out about Tara and I?" Nick asked himself. AJ looked at him blankly.
"I kinda told him"
"you WHAT? WHY did you do that for, man?"
"Man, he came right up and asked me to tell him the truth, so I did! All this confusion has to come to an end, Tara has to choose between YOU or JUSTIN, alright? This cant go on!"
"As if she'd chose me!! Justin beat me to a freaking pulp, LOOK AT ME! Look what he did to me!" Nick screamed, raising the ice to his cheek.
"Yeah, but did you see the way Justin was treating her? I dont think shes going to like that.."
"I have to go find her... I have to follow her.." Nick said, worried about what Justin was going to do with her.
"Man, hes not going to hurt her.. Im sure you'll hear from her soon!"
"I dont care, I have to find her.."
"Im not letting you go anywhere, Carter. You're staying here.. Im gonna send Brian over to keep an eye out on you"
"This is all your fault man... Im never going to forgive you for this... NEVER" Nick said. He laid down on his bed and stared up at the ceiling.
"Im sorry man.."
"GET OUT" Nick screamed at AJ. AJ shut the door behind him, and went down the stairs. He called Brian and explained the situation.
Brian arrived a half an hour later at Nicks house, and stayed downstairs, letting AJ leave the house.
Later that evening, the phone rang and Brian answered it. Tara's voice echoed from the other end, and she asked to talk to Nick.
Brian went upstairs to Nick's room and told him that Tara was on the phone for him, Nick quickly ran to the phone.
"Tara.. are you alright?" Nick asked, worried.
"Yeah, Im fine... are you alright? Im soo worried about you"
"Im alright.. Tara, where are you?"
"at Justin's house... he wont let me come back home"
"What? why not? this is your home!"
"He's making me leave tomorrow with him.."
"what? where?"
"Nick.. I gotta go.. If Justin finds out Im talking to you hes gonna totally flip on me!! I'll call you soon!" Tara said, and quickly hung up the phone.
The next morning, Justin woke up and quickly dressed. It was the day for N SYNC to leave on their tour, their plane scheduled to leave in a few hours.
Justin quickly finished packing his things while Tara was still asleep, she had slept that night in a sleeping bag on the floor. He put everything in the back of the van and went back inside the house.
"Wake up, honey.. our plane is leaving soon" Justin said.
"Justin... are we seriously leaving?"
"Tara, honey, this is the only answer! I love you, and Im going to be with you"
Tara didnt want to argue with Justin, realizing how deep his temper got when he was mad.
Justin took Tara's hands and gave her a kiss. She didnt kiss him back.
Nick came down the stairs that morning, and saw Brian sitting on the couch watching cartoons.
"Frick.. what are you doing here?" Nick asked.
"I came to check up on you, I wanted to make sure everything is going to be okay.." Brian said.
"No, everything is totally wrong" Nick replied. He sat down in the chair across from the couch.
"What happened man?"
"Justin found out about Tara and I... freaking came over here like a madman and beat the shit out of me... and I told Tara to go off with Justin" Nick said in regret.
"You told her to go off with him? Why did you do that for?"
"Cuz, I dont want him to hurt her..." Nick said "Id rather him hurt me, than him hurt her.."
"Man,you love her that much eh?"
"I love her more than anything.." Nick replied seriously.
Brian stood up and put a hand on Nicks shoulder.
"Do you know where she is right now?" Brian asked. He could tell that Nick was worried.
"She called last night, shes at Justins. I haven't heard from her since, and that really scares me. I hope nothing happened to her.." Nick said. Brian thought for a moment, recalling a meeting he had with Lou the other day.
"Isnt N SYNC going on tour soon..." Brian said, remembering faintly his conversation.
"Yeah... why? OH MY GOD..." Nick said.
"What?"
"What day is it?"
"May 4... why?"
"Today is the day they leave.... Justin has Tara with him!"
"So you're saying that he is just gonna take tara away on tour with him, without her stuff?"
"Maybe! I bet that's what hes gonna do!" Nick said "Man I have to go.. I have to stop them... Im going to the airport"
Nick got up off the chair and grabbed his keys.
"Wait Bro, Im coming with you!" Brian said, running after Nick.
At the airport...
JC, Joey and Chris were sitting in the lobby waiting for Justin and Tara to arrive. Lance was in Mississippi and planned on meeting them at the first town of the tour.
"Tara... you do love me, don't you?" Justin asked, putting his bags onto the baggage belt.
"Well.. yeah.. but...I dont like the way you are acting right now.."
"Im only doing this for us, Tara... for us!"
"Justin.. I dont know if I can be with you after all this.." Tara said. Justin looked over at her.
"After everythign I have done for you? You're not leaving me.." Justin said.
"Passengers boarding flight 51489 can start boarding"
"thats us" Justin said. He grabbed Tara's hands and followed JC, Chris and Joey into the boarding area, and handed the lady their tickets.
Tara sat down in her seat in the plane. Many thoughts ran through her head. What should she do? Who does she really want to be with?
She thought about the times she had with Justin, all the good times they had. There were no bad times, until now.
She thought about the way he beat up Nick, and the horror that she felt watching it.
Then, her thoughts turned to Nick, remembering everything and all the special moments that the two of them had shared together ever since the first day she moved to Florida.
The most vivid memory that stuck out in her mind was Christmas morning, the day that Nick and her had sex, and given eachother to one another.
She looked beside her at Justin, who was sitting there reading some papers about the different towns that they were going to.
Nick and Brian ran down the airport hallways trying to find the right gate that N SYNC's plane was at.
"Man.. where is it?" Brian asked, running behind Nick. Brian couldn't run as fast because of his heart, and also he had shorter legs than Nick.
"Its just up a little but further.." Nick said, running down the corridor.
Nick and Brian reached the gate and saw that it was closed.
He looked out the window and saw the large plane pulling away.
