"Give me your best shot, Carter" Tara said, teasing Nick because she was beating him at his own game. Nick grabbed the ball and held it high above his head, where he knew Tara couldn't reach it because she was shorter than him.
"Hey! thats not fair!" Tara said, jumping up and down, trying to grab for the ball, but even with her jumps she still wasnt tall enough to reach it. Nick ran up his driveway and slammed the ball into the net.
"You cheat, Carter" Tara said, whiping some sweat off of her forehead.
"Awwww is Shorty hot?"
"yeah" Tara replied.
"hmmm... I know how to fix that" Nick said, walking over to her and picking her up and carrying her over his shoulder.
"Nick!!! Put me down!!" Tara screamed, somewhat enjoying this little escapade Nick was doing to her. Nick carried her around to the backyard where his giant inground swimming pool was.
"Whats that you say? Put you down? Alright" Nick replied, throwing Tara into the pool.
Tara swam up to the surface and made her way over to the edge of the pool.
"Oh yeah?? well.. take this!" Tara said, grabbing Nicks legs, pulling him into the pool also.
Nick came up to the surface for air, and started to splash Tara.
"What are you guys doing?" Jane said with a laugh, taking a seat next to the pool.
"Just playing around" Nick replied, pulling himself out of the pool. Tara followed Nick and pulled herself out also.
"Hello Tara" Jane said after Tara came out of the pool. Tara had been over Nick's house once before.
"Hello Mrs Carter!" Tara said, wiping the hair out of her face.
"We're going inside, k mom?"
"sure"
Nick and Tara headed up to Nicks room, where he showed Tara his various comic book collections and drawings.
"ahhh you have Sony Playstation?" Tara said, looking at the sweet videogame station by Nicks TV.
"of course! You like to play?"
"Hell yeah!! its soo fun!"
Nick grinned at her.
"Want to play?" Nick asked with a sly smile.
"yeah!" Tara said, sitting down, and grabbing one of the controllers.
Five games later, Nick won the championship and bragged to Tara about his grand winning. Tara stood up and took a seat on Nicks bed since she was almost dry.
Nick got up and sat down beside her and laid back, Tara laid back also.
Nick asked Tara questions about her life, and other things that she liked and disliked, trying to get to know her even better than he already knew her. Tara, in return, asked Nick many questions and listened to him talk about his life and the things that he enjoys doing.
Nick drove Tara back to her house for 4pm, so she would have enought time to change and go to Justins house.
"Hey hun" Justin said, greeting Tara with a kiss, and then giving her a single red rose.
"hey babes" Tara said in return, kissing Justin back.
Justin took Tara's jacket off and led her into the living room of his house.
"Mom, this is Tara.... Tara, this is my mom" Justin introduced the two ladies.
"Hello Tara, nice to meet you" Lynn said, Tara returned the same comment.
Justin and Tara sat down at the family supper table and ate dinner with Justins family. Tara made sure she said all of her please's and thank you's, making a nice impression for Justins mom and step dad.
After dinner, Justin took Tara up to his room to watch some TV together, for a nice evening of relaxing in eachothers arms.
"hey Tara..." Justin said, playing with her hair while she had her head rested on his shoulder, they were lying down on his bed.
"yeah?" Tara said, still watching the TV.
"I found out that we are going on tour... for sure.." Justin replied. Tara turned her face to look up at Justin.
"really? When?" Tara asked.
"October.." Justin replied "and I know we're in a new relationship and all, I just wanted to know if you'd be waiting for me, for the time I was gone.." Justin asked, a little nervous.
"of course, Justin!" Tara said, giving him a kiss. Justin smiled down at her and hugged her tightly.
"Where is the tour?" Tara asked.
"Europe.." Justin said. Overseas.
"How long is it?" Tara was curious.
"From early October to mid-December.." Justin replied. A little over two months, not that bad, but still a long time to be away from one another, especially during a new relationship.
Tara didnt say anything and thought to herself.
"But.... there is this other concert... mid-August.. that we're doing here in Florida. I got you pair of tickets... front row, with backstage passes" Justin said. Tara sat up and her eyes widened.
"really? thanks soo much!!!" Tara gave him a large hug "You know, you're the sweetest person taht I have ever met" Tara said, giving him a kiss.
"I like being with you, Tara.."
"I like being with you too, Justin.." Tara leaned in and gave him another kiss. Justin gently laid her back down on his bed and started kissing her softly.
Tara wrapped her arms around his neck and continued to kiss him.
Justin broke away from the kiss, saying that he wanted to take things slow and didnt want to take advantage of Tara. Tara understood and agreed totally with Justin. She wasn't ready for an intimate, sexually advanced relationship with Justin. Kissing and other things suited her fine for now.
The day of the N SYNC concert arrived, and Tara decided to bring her friend Mar with her, since Karine did not like N SYNC and Mandy had plans with Nick for the evening.
"Chris is going to look sooo goood tonight" Mar said, checking her make up in the mirror. Tara finished applying her make up and grabbed the tickets from her backpack.
"yeah I know, but Justin will look the best.." Tara said with a smile. "Hey what did Kev say about you coming with me tonight?"
"He says for me to stay away from Chris.. like that'll happen!" Mar said laughing. She was a fan of Chris from N SYNC.
Tara laughed and shook her head.
"Here, better put this on now so no one steals it from you" Tara said, handing Mar her All-Access Backstage Pass.
Tara put her backstage pass over her head.
Mar and Tara drove to the concert in Mar's car. After arriving at the Orlando arena, Tara and Mar pushed their way up the line to make it to security, where they showed them their passes, and got inside the building. One of N SYNC's large bodyguards guided Tara and Mar to the dressing rooms where N SYNC had already changed, and were just hanging out in the back area. Tara walked into the room first, with Mar following behind her.
When Justin saw Tara walk in, he stood up and walked over to her, giving her a large hug and a kiss. Lance, JC, Chris and Joey "awwww"ed at them as the said hello to eachother.
"hello Tara" JC said.
"Hey JC" Tara replied.
Justin introduced Mar to the guys, and then sat Tara down on his lap. Mar walked over to Chris and started up a conversation with him. Mar and Tara relaxed and hung about backstage, and sat on the couch while the fans came in to meet N SYNC for the Meet N Greet's and contest winners.
After the fans left the room, Tara gave Justin one last kiss, and then left with Mar to go find their seats in the front row.
The concert started off with Jordan Knight opening up for N SYNC, followed by another boy band from named 5ive. AT 8pm, the lights went out and N SYNC made their grand entrance onto the stage, applauded and screamed at by thousands of anxious excited girls.
Mar and Tara acted like normal fans and screamed along with everyone else, jumping and trying to get the boys attention, like all girls do when they are near the front of the stage.
One of the boys guards came out into the audience, picking out about ten girls to bring backstage, Tara and Mar being two of them.
"For this next song, we'd like to dedicate this song to all of the girls out there... we love you" JC said, introducing the song. Chris, Joey and Lance led the ten girls on stage, and they had to sit down on stools. Justin sat inbetween Mar and Tara.
The lits dimmed low and the music started, playing the song, For The Girl Who Has Everything. Justin kept smiling and looking at Tara whenever he had to sing his parts, and of course, paid some attention to the audience also. Chris knew that Mar liked him the best, and made sure he paid her much attention during the song also.
After the concert was over, Tara and Mar went backstage once again because Justin was giving them a ride home.
"That concert rocked soo much, Tara!" Mar said, still amazed at how good her first N SYNC concert was.
"I know! i cant believe that they brought us up on stage! And that they flew right over the audience, during Sailing!" Tara said.
"I know.. It was soo amazing! CHris kept singing to me" Mar said, off in dreamland.
"are you going to tell Kevin that he sang to you?" Tara asked with a grin.
"uh.. No!" Mar said with a laugh "He'd get jealous for sure!"
"Are you girls ready to go?" Justin said, grabbing his things and giving Tara a kiss.
"Great concert, Justin" Mar said.
"Thanks Mar!"
"Yeah, we're ready to go!" Tara replied.
Justin dropped off Mar at Kevins house first, and then headed over to AJ's house.
"SO your thinking about moving out?" Justin asked, after Tara told him she wanted to get her own place.
"Yeah, I think it would be best.. I have a job now, so I can afford it.." Tara said.
"Why do you want to go? I thought you liked living with your friend Karine"
"Well, you know, It is hers and AJ's house, I feel more like a guest, then someone who actually lives there" Tara said, expressing her feelings.
"I guess thats understandable" Justin said. He leaned over in his Benz and gave her a soft kiss on the lips. Tara gave him a second kiss in return.
"Want to come in for awhile?" She asked him.
"Sure, but I can't stay too long, I'm really tired out from the concert" Justin said. Tara took Justin's hand and led him inside the house.
