On My Mind

 

Lately for some reason,
I can't think of anything but you,
Although I try but it seems,
There's nothing I can do.
It is you that I want to hold,
It is you that I want to be with.
It is only you,
That could warm my heart and soul,
My darling it is with only you,
That I want to grow old.
I want to live with you forever,
I want you by my side,
The beauty of it and you,
Would be enough to hypnotize.
I wish I had the nerve to tell you,
just how it is I feel,
I do believe, and trust in you,
I am just scared to say,
'Cause if I tell you how I feel,
It might make you go away.
It's not a chance worth taking,
I don't want to lose you now
So for the time being,
I will keep all of this locked in my heart,
And pray to God in Heaven,
That we will never be apart,
Maybe sometime when I know,
That you are in my life,
I'll be able to share with you,
All that I wanted to say.
