I bought this kit in Holland, because it's way cheaper there. But took almost a year to finished it. First I painted with acrylic paint. After the masking was peeled, the paint went crazy. It sticks to the masking tape rather than the body. So after finishing two Jimny above, I stripped to bare plastic again and start over again. This time using Tamiya Spray paint. Well, the paint almost stick to the masking tape again. I think the masking is not good anymore. I have bought a new roll anyway.. I finished the body color with Red and roof with White. Interior finished in Grey and black. The front seats are from Aoshima Mitsubishi Pajero SWB. The original front seat are really crap. I didn't like it. Everything else is build box stock.
Stock steering wheel is a really crap. I have left over from Fujimi's 190E, so I use it in this kit. The steering column is scratch build with turn signal switch to match.
Many people like to build Mercedes G wagen as "Bling car" but I prefer to built it as commercial/public service car. Thank's God, the kit still include original skinny spare tyres, so I mounted it on the back of the car.
Build it box stock.Front grille is made from Bare Metal Foil. Lowered. Disc brake, Italvolanti steering wheel and J-wing DT-01 wheels from Fujimi. Later, after I have 18" Admiration from Aoshima, I installed them.
Originally it's the racing version. Converted to street use. Rear seats are from Fujimi Toyota Crown Majesta. Painted with Tamiya Mica Blue(TS-50). Steering wheel is from Tamiya Toyota Supra Group A Racing. I Made it because My friend have 190E with same color.

This kit hasn't actually finished yet because the winter dienst equipment hasn't finished yet. I bought the kit in Houtloods, Den Haag, Netherland. I never thought I would find this kit. Finished in Orange.
First I saw this kit in HLJ, I was surprise that the car available in 1/24 Scale. Then I was more surprise that the kit had opening doors and opening hood. It was finished in Red Mica and Interior is biscuit/cream leather. Wheels are19" Kreutzer so it doesn't ruin its classic look.
after three times colour changing, here the final one. It's Tamiya purple. Lowered and the wheels are from Tamiya Calsonic Skyline GTR
A rare find these day. Interior is detail is amazing, with Recaro TS front seats, 4 net headrests, cell phone, painted with TS-46 Light Sand. Exterior is Royal Blue (Gunze Sangyo no.5) lowered, Wheels are Aoshima 18" BBS LM.
Later I got trigger happy, then I repainted most of the interior. I render the wood panel using various color, both enamel and Acrylic. The result is more realistic looking interior
My Favorite. lowered. Dark Blue Exterior from Tamiya Repsol Blue with tan interior. Glass sun roof and rear bumper are scratch build. Wheels are 19" from Volvo 850 Saloon BTCC with Pirelli Tyres from Aoshima. Crome trim made from Bare Metal Foil
After the Aoshima Work Equip 19" wheels arrived, Immediately changed, with some modification to wheel hub. Use Fujimi disc brake. Front tyres Pirelli P7000Z, rear Bridgestone Expedia, since original tyres have very thin side wall.
Finally My dream wheels are produced. I bought the kit just to take the wheels. 20" Brabus Monoblok III from LA Luxy Celsior.
This is black one. Lowered. with all the side skirt and spoiler installed.
White AMG S600 Coupe. Actually it's build box stock. White Body color with Black/Grey interior. Suspension is lowered and wheels are 19" OZ Opera from Aoshima with modiified hub to fit Tamiya hub.

This is my first ever so called Revell kit. Actually this kit is built by Protar in Italy for Revell. The detail is better if you compare with Fujimi's E-class. This kit actually build box stock with the exception sunroof is enlarged than the original. Temporarily this kit will sport 18" AMG wheels while I save some money to buy 19" Aoshima. Body color is Tamiya's X-31 Titanium Gold and clear coat Tamiya's X-22. Both are Acrylic paints and diluted using Nitro Cellulose thinner. Thank's to hot summer sun, only took 2 days for body color to completely dried and 2 days also for clear coat. Interior done in two tone Grey. I also made wood portion of steering wheel using various color.
The wheels now are 19" Veina Kreis from Aoshima. It really looks like MAE. I once saw the real car uses those wheels and looks amazing. And It does.
1/24 Tamiya Mercedes Benz S600 Coupe
Probably the most desirabale kits Tamiya ever build. Build it box stock. Took 3 weeks just to set the decal.
From all CLK DTM 2000 series, this one is the most desired, due to ripped hood decals. I build it box stock. The paint are custom mix Acrylic due to unavailability of proper color at the time it was built.
