9-11

Tragedy, honor, disbelief
A nation so strong
Crumbles under the weight of its own blood
Just as this pen
Sits upon my hand
With a heavy burden of hatred
We sit before the numbing orb
Which explains our nation’s peril
The motivations, we know little
The consequences, we know not
We are hurt
We join together
Such tragedy brings neighbors closer
Like nothing else has
Yet so much should have
As our nation unifies
our world falls apart
We are to blame
