I'm not sure what it is about my Camaro. The car runs fine; it is just the
kinds of mishaps that people seem to get into with it. It's not like it
drives poorly, with the possible exception of having the turning radius of
a supertanker, but that's beside the point. The last time I loaned the car
to someone, they got into an accident with it
 while parking
    it.

When I got back from the gym, I had found out from Jenna, or actually her friend that the battery in my car died.
Naturally, it died because they had left my car's lights on.
[Groan] We briefly tried jump starting it, but the charge didn't
seem to take. This happens when it has been drained sufficiently. Not
that they were trying to drain it, at least I didn't think they
were. How do people forget to turn off their lights? In all my years of
driving (fifteen or so), I have only left my lights on two times.

I suppose that it's a good thing that I have a battery charger and that the
car is at my place. We elected to charge the battery. The extension cord
I have does not quite reach the car though, and it is generally a little
safer to charge the battery outside the car. We got my tools and removed
the battery from the car. It takes about three hours to fully charge, so
that puts the target time at about 2am.

Oh, I still hadn't gotten dinner, so I went to Subway, and came
back to home, at least for a while. Work was still pretty hectic, and I
had to go back tonight. I took a quick shower and went back to work. I
spent a few hours investigating and fixing bugs, what else is a software
    engineer to do?

It must've been about 4am or so before I decided to go home. I still had a
couple of things to do. First, I contact lenses were giving me all kinds
of trouble and I needed to get some cleaning solution since I was out.
Second, I needed to get some gasoline since I would have little spare time
tomorrow before my doctor's appointment. That's okay, the stops would be
short. Okay, ordinarily they would be short stops.

As I left the building and turned off the alarm in my car, I noticed that
it wasn't behaving quite right. As a matter of fact I noted that the
reason my alarm was acting up was because my battery was nearly dead

because I left the lights on. [Sigh!] I'll never hear the end of
this one. I called up corporate security, they would jump start the car as
long as you call them. I sat downstairs by my car with the hood open,
waiting for these guys to show up. It only took them a few minutes to come
    by.

I went to do my errands, I got to bed by about 5am. A typical night.
