10 tips on how to avoid a bad Senior Portrait
1. Allow extra time to get ready for your session. The 'just rolled out of bed' look isn't flattering on most people, unless it's your fashion statement.

2. Avoid red pistachios, blue popsicles, or anything else that stains. "wear something brightly colored" did not mean your teeth and lips.
3. Bring along props that reflect your personality. A handful of asparagus might add just the right touch.
4. If your session is scheduled for a time when you might have an afternoon shadow, plan for an additional shave. Guys too.
5. Relax and have fun, you're only a High School Senior once. Twice, max.

6. Trying a new and radical hairstyle just before your session is not recommended. Save the Beehive for Halloween, or be prepared to bring a big hat.
7. Do your best to choose tasteful, suitable clothing. There's not much we can do with just a Loincloth, guys . . . or girls.

8. If you'd feel more comfortable, bring a friend along with you. If your friend might feel uncomfortable making you feel comfortable, have them bring a friend along to make them feel comfortable.
9. Prepare for your session the day before. Remember, "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Making sure there's gas in your car could save you a lot of steps.
