The AOP/SOP page, from the Founders

General Rules:

1. Help "guests" if you can. Some are just newbies, and this may be their first stop! "Every visitor is a potential regular" Live by these words!!

2. Greet people! I know not everyone can catch every visitor, but if each op says hi to someone every 10 minutes or so, it makes them feel welcome and part of the family…we want to discourage the "cliques" found on other channels. +V the ladies as soon as you see them. Sexbot^^ has an on going list of ladies that recieve automatic +V's on sight, but don't rely on her to catch every one, there are new nicks coming in all the time. And remember, THEY are impersonal, it's YOU who will bring them back!

3. If you are in a BAD mood, do NOT come in. This is not the place to air your disgruntlements or abuse your fellow ops or visitors. Abusing fellow ops is immediate grounds for deopping. If you have a problem with someone, go through the chain of command.

4. Personal problems stay personal. Keep them in private, do not air them in the channel. This applies to people, ops and visitors alike, who come in and do nothing but whine. Its not fair to those who come in to play and have fun, and disrupts the flow of the channel. If you notice a visitor is CHRONICALLY complaining, ask them in private to please stop or leave.

5. Log EVERYTHING! The founders and SOPs do not want to be faced with a he said/she said situation. If any OP would like changes to the channel, they should talk to an SOP or founder about their ideas, or email abby^^ at abby_cakes@hotmail.com. If there is a problem please include full logs with time stamps or no complaint can be filed.

6. Your OP status is subject to removal by the Management (ie abby^^) at any point in time I feel you are a detriment to the function of the channel or the OP team. However, NO ONE will be deopped because of someone disliking someone else. Options include:

A: Take discussions private, not onotice or in channel.

B. Try to get along or use /ignore

C. Find a third party to moderate a discussion. (SOP)

D. Agree to disagree

7. A  word about privacy: One of the "perks" to being an op is being able to use the onotice. Whether its to talk about something personal, ask a question, or even talk about a visitor who is in the channel, onotice is used for things we do not want the whole channel to see. There is a certain amount of trust that is based on being able to use that onotice. Each op knows that he can trust another op with any information that is said there. This is also true for our meetings in #HWHA4Ops...this is priviledged info, just as a one on one private chat, and it stays between ops. Those that do not heed this will be taken off the ops list.

8. REMEMBER THE SPIRIT OF THE ROOM: TO CREATE A FUN AND FLIRTATIOUS ATMOSPHERE FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY!!

1. Sexbot runs the only script which is pervscan used to catch all the usual pervs!

Kicking:

Visitors will NOT be kicked or abused for your entertainment or for any of the following reasons:

a. Race, Religion, or Sexual Preference

(kick reasons should state the reason the visitor was kicked)

Visitors WILL be kicked for the following reasons:

a. visitors co-channeling in rooms the deal with TEEN, CHILDSEX, INCEST, and RAPE

b. ADVERTISERS

c. FSERVERS

d. Anyone under 18 years old

Auto Op (AOP) selection:

1. Must get along with the founder. (Hey, why would I want to op anybody I didn't like?)

2. Based on current channel needs. Male/Female ratios and current number of ops, as well as the type of channel all play a part.

3. We specifically look for people that have added to our intended atmosphere (without being asked), that have a positive attitude and willingness to communicate and learn. You DON'T have to know how to be an AOP to become one.

4. Frequent visitor (3-4 days/nights a week) in the channel, ACTIVELY participating. One week in the channel is almost never enough to be considered for opping, unless the founders or the ops know the person in advance and will vouch for them. In some cases, a "trial" opping is agreed upon.

5. Person must be at least 18 years old.

6. A registered nickname. This means (for the newbies) that you must have sent the command /MSG NICKSERV REGISTER yourpasswordhere and received confirmation that your password is indeed registered in your status window. Also, you must use this nickname periodically to maintain it, so just because you registered it, you can't assume it is STILL registered. To verify, type /MSG NICKSERV INFO yournicknamehere. If your nickname is registered, you will see the information pop up in your status window.

7. On your primary nickname above, your 60-second KILL should be on. To set your kill to on, type /MSG NICKSERV SET KILL ON while you are currently using the nick and after identifying to NICKSERV.

Super Op (SOP) selection:

Advancement to SOP is very rare. They are chosen because they support and can work with The Management. They know the rules and when to enforce them. The show leadership qualities and are active in the channel. They do not think themselves better than the other Ops, but are a strong part of the team. Becoming an SOP means that the founders trust that person to take care of the channel, AOPs and visitors, and to follow their guidelines. If you have to ask to be an SOP, you probably arent ready for it.

SOP rules:

1. Akicks are set for serious channel problems only, not for people who are merely annoyances.

2. NEVER knowingly undo an AKICK set by the founder without their permission. (Loss of SOP status will result) The Management will remove any they feel is unnecessary or set masks for AKICKS that need them)

3. Send The Management an email stating nickname, ISP, and reason for the AKICK so that the founders can add it to necessary paperwork.

4. Warnings are to be discussed in private with the other OP. No OP will be dragged into public degrading. Be professional in dealing with channel management situations, or refer to abby.
