Carol plans a different breakfast menu for each day or return visit, so guests have the opportunity to try a variety of Alaskan products, traditional regional cuisine and her wild berry specialties.
Our cancellation policy is very liberal; we will refund all of your deposit if we are notified 4 days prior to your date of arrival.
We also give a full refund if we are able to fill the room when notified less than 4 days prior to date of arrival.

Directions from Glenn Hwy.

Enter right lane before the Bragaw St. light (1st cross street after 3 over passes as entering town/pedestrian bridge diagonally across intersection).
Turn right onto Bragaw up an incline and get into left turn lane prior to light.
Turn left onto Mt. View Dr.
Turn right at 2nd light onto Taylor St. (Mt. View Car Wash on corner).
Go one block on Taylor and turn left onto Richmond Av.

Directions from International Airport

Go East (towards mountains) on International Airport Rd.
Take North bound exit (right lane) to Minnesota Dr.
Proceed in northbound lane
evenually northbound lane goes past a lagoon and curves up a small hill to I St. which is one way North.
Turn right onto 6th Av (two right lanes turn right).
6th Av. turns into 5th Av. and becomes a 4 lane two way street (towards Mountains).
As you pass Merrill Field (small plane airport on right) move into left turn lane just prior to 4th light where 4 lane
divided Glenn Highway begins.
Turn left onto Mt. View Dr.
Curve up a slight incline, past MacDonald’s, to first light.
Stay in left lane and go straight through light, crossing Commercial Dr., onto Taylor St.
Go one block on Taylor, turn left onto Richmond Av.

3401 is mid block on right side. A log house with Mansard shake roof and stained glass totem in front door.
Off street parking in front of our garage (a sign indicates where to park). There are 3 sets of moose antlers mounted on
the garage at roof line).

If you will be really late, I can leave a note and a key in a box outside on the porch of the main house

Chalet Cabin
Large 2 story Chalet with 2 private bedrooms on the second floor. One double and one twin bed in each room. A small reading loft overlooks the living room. One full bath, a combined living and dining area and a full kitchen with dishwasher are on the first floor. Queen sofa sleeper in the living room. Satellite TV & VCR, Alaskan Videos, Phone.

We strongly encourage you to get advance reservations at (800)-622-7275 or (800)-276-7234, if you want to take a park tour or shuttle bus beyond the 15 miles that you can drive in yourself. If you wait until you arrive it can be up to a 2 day wait for reservations.
