I am the youngest of three children born to David and Jean Marie Shaffer. I was born on September 4, 1980 in Erie, Pa. and have lived all my life in Harborcreek, Pa. I am currently attending Point Park College in Pittsburgh, Pa. My sister Angie is married and no longer lives at home. My brother David graduated from Gannon University and is now attending St. Vincents seminary. My parents separated in 1998. My dad now lives in Lantana, Florida and my mom still lives in Harborcreek.
My main interest at this time is a certain guy named John. Softball is my favorite sport although I also enjoy playing basketball and volleyball. I am an excellent swimmer and am currently employed as a lifeguard at the greater Erie YMCA. I also teach swimming classes there. I enjoy hanging out with my friends and playing with my Pomeranian dog (Rudy). I also am quite ruthless at certain card games.
In school I have enjoyed being on student council and class treasurer for 2 years. Math is my favorite subject and I enjoy singing in the chorus and being involved in theatrical productions whether as a performer or working backstage on the sets and lights.
