On this one I got to practice some more with hair. It was about the perfect tone to show good texture. It was also the first sketch where I drew the shapes of the image and then added the detail. Let's see what else? Oh, it was my first sketch with fabric, which is really not all that different from skin or other smooth surfaces. One significant part of this sketch is also the use of negative space to render the outline of the right half of her face. I also switched to using a lead holder and lead.
