OK. Well here's where you'll probably learn the most about me because the attic has all my junk in it from my life.
So let's start from the top:
1978 - Elvis Presley died; I was born. Coincedence? I don't think so. I am Elvis Presley reborn.
1982 - I started Nursery school. I can't remember much from these dayz. But I can imagine I had a wicked time. There's nothing better than being a little kid in a BIG BIG world.
1983 - Oooh. Started infant/junior school. Wasn't that a big step? Well, as far as I'm concerned, the 7 years I spent at Highfield Primary School were the best dayz of my life. I was there from age 4 to 11 and it was dead good!! It was a cool school and I met loads of cool friends there some of whom I still see. I was pretty much a star there and not just because I had leading roles in one or two plays I was in there. I was Nicholas Nickleby in a play called Smike and in the earlier years, I was Angel Gabriel in the Christmas Nativity. I'll never forget that day. Everyone turned up with their little cards with all their lines on and me... I left mine at home! But through determination and sheer good luck, I remembered my lines perfectly. I was about 6 or 7 then. Well, that was the day I became truly recognised as a star-to-be.
1989 - Me and a mate of mine from school started going to a local theatre. And not to admire the shitty art of theatrical works either. We were actoooors! It was a place called Wigan Little Theatre and it was fucking great. The following couple of years were MAD!! We scared each other shitless by telling (and listening to) ghost stories in the basement of the theatre; we leapt from the theatre balcony; messed with the stage lights; wreaked havoc at theatre parties; we wore make-up (oo-er); we tied other unsuspecting actors' shoe laces together (and got bollocked for it); we dressed up in stupid costumes; we tormented the patrons; we made 'connections' with girls in the theatre; and occasionally, we behaved and actually did some acting rather than acting clowns.
1990 - I started High School. The school is good... nice buildings... that's about it. You could probably liken the area it was in to the poorer districts of East Beirut. So the company wasn't of the highest standards. Nevertheless, I worked hard these years. After all, my first qualifications were to be had at the end of this institution. But I met a lot of new people here too (read between the lines on that last point).
1991 - I started going to a boys' uniformed organisation called Royal Rangers with my mate, Baz. It was well cool. During the years there, I did tonnes of cool stuff: canoeing, camping, hiking, and a other Rambo-type stuff. It was the Great Outdoors.
1995 - I started college. Now the couple of years I spent here were when my life really started taking off. As soon as I turned 17, I learned to drive and got a car. Now that was a new beginning. Driving!! Oh yes!! What a buzz! If there is one thing good about driving, then it's being able to go fast with very little effort (especially round corners whilst applying the handbrake).
1996 - I started working for a company which catered for many different events around the country, and the one I can most brag about is the Loch Lomond and Knebworth concerts Oasis hosted in July and August 1996. I a VIP pass into the concert and I spoke to Noel Gallagher!! It was after the concert and he was on his way to his boat when I spoke to him. I told him to "Jump in the lake for a fiver"!!! He just laughed and said, "Naa, it's alright." Claim to fame or what?! Told the idol of millions to get soaking wet just for a laugh!!!
1997 - During the Summer, I had the holiday of my life! Ibiza, Spain. Me and four lads went (with essential supplies... if you know what I mean) and we got pissed and went clubbing every night. It was fucking awesome. Loads of sun, sand, sea and.... er.... beer (HA HA). There were one or two girls there too!!!
1998 - Wowzers!! What a year! I guess the first real year of my life. Had loads of hard work at university which you can learn more about in the
Study and during the summer, I went to a little place between the Atlantic and the Pacific called the USA. Now wasn't that an experience? I was working for a company called The Southwestern Company selling kids' educational books and CD-ROM's (doing my good bit for society). I'm not gonna talk much about it here, but if you wanna know what it's all about, check out the
web-site.
