We were all friends in
there and somehow jt and always
seemed to talk to each other and have
the most amazing popup wars hehehe
:o) although we never really ever
looked at each other in a romantic
sense although I have to admit I
thought he was kinda cute and sweet
but he was seeing (sounds funny as a
net thing lol) someone else ...
so I went on and had a
few heartbreaks of my own but jt was
always there as a shoulder to cry on
and I did the same when his
relationships didnt work.. I guess
really I felt that as I am older than
he is and twice now divorced with 4
children I was well and truly out of
his league ....
Then we met in
Queensland whilst I was there on
holidays ....at the time I was
getting over a tough few months and
trying to work out where I fitted in
someone's life ...I met jt and for
the first time we talked about
everything not that there wasnt too
much he didnt know about me or I him
but we clicked...... this man who had
been so close to me on the internet
yet we had never seen each other
there was no awkwardness nothing it
was just like a continution of our
friendship on the net.
We made plans to visit
each other again and then spent a
weekend together as a couple ...well
that was it here was someone who made
time for me who wasnt like anyone I
had previously been with and it felt
good.
I have to admit that
when we first talked about being
together permanently I was scared and
worried and hesitant because of my
children and past but jt has accepted
all that because he loves me
unconditionally ..
I guess the bottom line
is that yes the net is an easy way to
meet people and from experience there
are a few jerks out there but
sometimes there comes along a person
who is a true friend and just might
be more than that if you are prepared
to take the risk it might just work
out it has been hard the time and
distance before we got together
really tested us but here now 1 year
on we are together and very happy. I
have to thank Meetmeonline for that :o)
