2. When is your birthday? November 6, 1971

3. Place of residence? Oregon, in the beautiful Willamette Valley :-)

4. Why do you like to chat? Well, honestly, I never thought I would be involved in any sort of “chat”!!! But I’ve hung around because of all the nice people I have met there.

5. What do you do in real life? I am the office manager for a small company that manufactures propane floor buffers and other commercial janitorial equipment. Not exciting nor very glamorous, but it pays the bills!

6. What do you do for fun, besides chatting? I read a lot!!! And work on my web page... I make candles in my spare time, as a hobby... other than that, I spend time with my husband and our friends.

7. Favorite Earth's Children book? Clan of the Cave Bear... I love reading about how Ayla grew up. I bet I've read it at least 100 times!

8. Least favorite Earth's Children book? Plains of Passage... too much foliage, not enough people interaction. I appreciate how much effort Jean Auel put into the book, but I've only read the descriptive parts once, then I skip over them to get to the "good" parts!

9. Favorite Earth's Children character? This is a hard one... I like Deegie; she seems like a person I would like. I also like Talut. Ayla as well, of course! And I want a man like Jondalar... you can take that any way you would like!

10. Favorite H.C.C. moment? Liz, ec, and I were the only ones in the room, and they (Liz and ec) were trying to figure out when my birthday was. ec said “11/4, right?” Well, I read that as 1-1/4 (you know, one and one-fourth) and I couldn’t figure out for the life of me what she meant... we ended up all laughing so hysterically that the typos were flying off the keyboards... and this is where {tears sterming} first came out... I was laughing so hard, tears were streaming down my face, but I typed “sterming” instead. Also, I loved it during Jac’s “j” party when we outed “.” as Rag of the Miata.

11. Why did you decide to come to the chat in the first place Well, I had chatted once before in the old room, before Vicki replaced it with the Volano Chat, but the timing was never right... I kept missing everyone. Then someone posted on the Discussion Board about having a Pacific Coast Time chat for those of us who wanted to chat. I was interested enough to show up!

12. If you were a character in an Earth's Children book, which tribe would you belong to? Mamutoi, definitely! And anyone who knows me will agree!

13. What is your "bird"? I am a falcon.

14. What is one thing about yourself that the H.C.C.'s don't know? Hmmm… well, I have two tattoos, and I am getting another one soon. Other than that... I guess I have been pretty much an open book!
