Meet Sassie
This is my newest furry friend, a dwarf hamster!! I bought her recently at a Lawrence pet store. She's really sweet and cuddly. I don't know why they say hamsters are nocturnal, because she's extremely active all damn day. She's so awesome! Granted, I'm breaking about a dozen rules by having her here, but I don't really care! Our fish, Coco-Un, isn't very cuddly or playful, so I had to get her! I originally thought she was a boy, but my roomies got a couple and we had to check their sexes and I found out that she's a little girl and NOT a little boy, and so I named her Sassie. Even though we just got her, we have determined that she's smart enough to know who "mommy" is already. It's pretty cute. She loves to run on his wheel and zoom around the apartment in her pink ball. And she loves her "Auntie" Reesa and "Auntie" Sonya very much. They love her, too, and play with her whenever she's awake. I'm very impressed with how lively and intelligent she is and I love her very much!
This is Sonya's baby, Dog Stew. I call him Stu, cuz it's cuter and easier! He's also really sweet, but the damn thing never sleeps! But he's nice enough and he has the prettiest coloring!
