Subject: Neonatocide

Date: Mon, 28 Jun 1999 15:22:24 EDT

How is commiting Neonatocide any worse than an abortion?

OUr Reply: [The article this refers to is no longer on the site.] Well, in our opinion, it isn't really, but sadly abortion is more accepted in society. Abortion is also much more controversial in the way that I think everyone is against neonaticide. Some people may argue that with abortion the baby is not fully developed yet, and so it is not as bad, but I doubt anyone would ever try to excuse the act of killing a child who is undeniably fully developed. Good question, though.

Subject: Got Help?

Date: Sun, 11 Jul 1999 00:35:24 EDT

I'm wondering how the title "Got Help?" relates to the site. What does it mean?

Our reply: Got Help? is an online teen magazine that was originally created as a site with fun features but a main purpose of trying to help teens. That is why we urge you all to send us your questions so that we may start an interactive advice section. Unfortunately, things have not happened that way, yet, and we are still in the process of creating more features for everyone to enjoy on this site. If you would like to see the title become more useful, please send any questions you may have to us at our address: got_answers@hotmail.com

Date: Fri, 5 Nov 1999 00:00:34 EDT

Thanks so much. I really needed [the advice "Me" gave to her on how to find out if her crush likes her]. I think about him every minute of every day and you helped me a lot. Thanks.

OUR REPLEY: I'm really glad I could help you! I related to your problem, and I really wanted to help you out with it. I went through a lot of problems due to the same type of situation, so I really wish you all the best and I hope things go much better with you, and with the others who have written. Good luck to you all! ---Me

I love to read the embarrassing moments; they are soo cool!!!! (And I love reading the pet peeves.)

OUR REPLEY: We're really glad to hear that people like the site so much, and the pet peeves section does seem to get the most attention. However, what embarrassing moments??? We don't have those!

Thanks for the wonderful advice [on what to do about a boyfriend/friend]; I will try what you said. It will be hard because I do like him a lot, but it is the mature thing, like you said. Thanks again.

OUR REPLEY: I am so glad that I could help you in some way. I'm always happy to hear that someone does, in fact, get something out of the advice that I give out. I wish you all the best of luck with things, and keep strong! ---Me

Hi there, here's something to put a grin on yer chin: Visit
http://jamiereeves.iuma.com and visit one of the worlds up and coming singer/songwriters. If you would like to do a feature on me, then please get in touch as I need all the help publicity wise I can get!! Keep smilin :) Jamie

OUR REPLEY: While we are very flattered that you chose our site to help you advertise, there is not really any place on this site where we can do any publicity for you, and that is not really something that this site does, at the moment. However, here is our attempt at helping you with this: Anyone who is reading this right now, Jamie would appreciate it if you would visit his site and check him out, so click the link above and do him a favour!

Subject: Quiz idea

Date: Fri, 22 Oct 1999 01:02:11 EDT

I know I would enjoy filling out a quiz that has to do with something about sex. As a girl, I am being really honest. Maybe something like what your style in bed would be, and tips for new, exciting things. Maybe that is so old for some of the readers but, as a 16 year old female, I would enjoy that, and I know a lot of people that would. Or maybe something like, is she a friend worth keeping, or how you deal with stress and some tips, or maybe even do you flirt too much? and is it going to get you into trouble?. Nice page ~ Sarah ~

OUR REPLEY: Well, as for the sex quiz, we don't want to sound prudish, but we also don't want to include such things on the site, necessarily. It's a little hard to explain. However, we have taken your other suggestions into consideration, and we're even working on a couple, now. It's just that the quizes do take a bit of time to come up with, but we promise they will be there, some day soon!

Subject: Josh Hartnett

Date: Sun, 24 Oct 1999 00:08:37 EDT

Hey! You should really have pics of Josh Hartnett. He's really fine and is a good actor. Well I hope I'll see him on here some time! Sincerely, Bethany Reichenbach

--------------------

OUR REPLEY: Our aim at the site is to try to avoid writing about just the same exact things that are on every other site. No, advice columns and such are not something unique to this site, however that is not quite the same thing as having just one more website devoted to Will Smith, for example. This is why we have articles on more unique personalities, such as Jangles the Clown.

Subject: Nice Page

Date: Fri, 5 Nov 1999 15:19:08 -0800 (PST)

Dear Andrea and Vrinda,
I found your page on the web. I have never heard of some of your celebrities, but it is still a pretty cool page. I also joined your e-group. I especially enjoyed your advice column. There is nothing better than other peoples' problems. I feel sorry for that poor guy that went out with the transexual for 10 years, but he must have been stupid.
---Anonamous Incarnate

OUR REPLEY: Fortunately we know this person and he is joking around. Also, interesting note as that letter has since been pulled from the site.

Subject: More Porn

Date: Sun, 2 Jan 2000 00:13:34 EST

You need more porn.

OUR REPLEY: In order to have MORE porn, you must have SOME porn, in the first place, which we do not - and we never intend to - have, so get over yourself, Evan!

Subject: I'd just like to say....

Date: Sat, 14 Jul 2001 10:36:10 +0100

Hi. I just read your list, and I couldn't have put it better myself. A perfect combination of unbiased choices. Brief history you might like to add: "Moonlight" Sonata was meant to be a disturbing piece. Mozart went deaf during his later career, and tried all sort of remedies, including putting a lighted candle in his ears (the lit end). Obviously this just made it worse. This piece was the first thing he
wrote while he was completely deaf. And frankly, he wasn't impressed being a music composer. He went on to write others he was destined to never hear played, but this was his first and only one based specifically on deafness.

(No I'm not a major classical fan, just remembered a video we were force-fed in school.)

Keep Smiling :o)
Simon

OUR REPLEY: I assume you're referring to the Music of the Millenium thing? [It is currently no longer on the site.] Thank you! However, actually, it's Beethoven, not Mozart, but yes, I know, you are correct. The piece was written actually while he was going deaf, that is why it's the first done when he lost his hearing, and he composed it by cutting the legs off of his piano and putting the whole keyboard onto the floor, then pressing his ear to the ground and pounding on the keys so that he could hear the notes, and feel the vibrations, to compose the piece. The song is supposed to be symbolic of the storm and struggle of going deaf, which is why it has so many moments of calamity, only to be broken by huge crashing turbulence.

I am not a big classical fan, either, but I happen to like Beethoven a lot, and that happens to be one of my favourite songs ever written, EVER. Thank you for your letter, though! It's always nice to hear people's comments, especially when they happen to be interesting, as yours was.

---Vrinda---

Subject: Where to ask for?....

Date: Sat, 18 Aug 2001 15:22:28 -0700 (PDT)

Can guys ask questions too? Or do they have another
question and answer site?

OUR REPLEY: Yes, guys can ask questions as well, and no, they don't have a separate page. Actually, quite a few of the questions in the advice section have come from guys.
From: MuddByrne@aol.com

Subject: suggestion 4 da site

Date: Sat, 29 Dec 2001 09:10:16 EST

I would have a fashion site for girls, and a fashion site for boys. I think that would really rock because usually people only have girl fashion sites.

C U L8R ---Anonymous

OUR REPLEY: Good point, however we are not very interested in creating a fashion section on this site, for either gender.
