An HHS Rant by Casey

Okay, here I sit in computer class, with a mindnumbingly easy project that I finished two days early and nothing to do. Last period in math I was having severe difficulties keeping my eyes open, but had to, as that crap we're learning right now is *so* hard to understand. Now I had nothing to do, so I opted to lay my head down and sleep. Well, my computer teacher found this unacceptable, and told me nicely that he couldn't let me sleep. So here I sit, doing something that is equally academically useless as sleeping, and yet I am denied my rest. Not to mention, the fact that students *want* to sleep so much should tell these people something. In elementary school, I used to get up at, I dunno, like 8:45 go get to school on time. Now, as a teenager that needs more sleep than an energetic 8 year old, I get up at 5:45. Where is the sense in all this? *sigh* I really wish I could go to sleep.
