Brownies

Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over low heat; cool. Stir in sugar and eggs. Mix flour with salt and cocoa; stir into butter mixture with remaining ingredients. Pour into a greased 13x9-inch baking pan; bake at 325º for 35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares. Yield: 3 dozen.
1 cup butter or margarine 1/4 tsp salt
2 cups sugar 1/2 cup plus 2 tbsp cocoa
4 eggs, beaten 2 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup cocoa 1 cup milk
